With a selection of over 150 bourbons and craft beers, BBM has become one of Lexington’s favorite bars. Located in the heart of Lexington, across from Rupp Arena and Triangle Park, BBM is the lounge of the Hilton Lexington/Downtown. It has become a traditional gathering spot for University of Kentucky fans before Wildcat games, Rupp Arena concert goers, and the Lexington Opera House concert goers. Our patio is a great summer hangout to see and be seen.

I went to BBM three times this week and I always enjoyed myself when I saw Lauren at the bar. I was here with my daughter Lauren remembered her name the second time , She made me a lot of good bourbon cocktails from a Manhattan to a old-fashioned and a paper plane we’re talking about all the different bourbons old Forrester is my new favorite and I took home a Blantons bottle after finishing the bottle. Lauren’s personality is amazing. She’s the best bartender I’ve seen in years. I will definitely come back to this place because of her.

After a long day of driving, this was our first stop after checking in. We were tired and did not want to walk to other restaurants, so we came here. Fortunately, we were one of three tables, so service was fast. The drinks were well made. The nacho appetizer was far better than expected. Tender chicken, fresh and crisp chips and great toppings, including the cheeses. Often times nachos in bars can be greasy and lack flavor. Not these, they were definitely elevated. The caesar salad was good, but the shrimp were amazing. Light and fluffy, similar to those you get off the boat in South Carolina. Often time bar shrimp can be rubbery and tasteless, but not these. The souther fried chicken salad would have been best with just the salad. The chicken was dry and flavorless. Overall, there were still enough things done right, that I would give it a 4.5 if possible, but I cannot give it a 5.

Lauren at the BBM bar is awesome. Super friendly, always smiling, and really outgoing. She makes you feel welcome right away and the service is great every time. Definitely one of the highlights of the place.

Service was not good. I felt like a burden ordering a drink. Rude bartenders plus I overheard a waitress tell a table they could go to the bar for extra napkins…. I would expect better service when paying for a room at a Hilton hotel.

Stayed a week here for a conference. I dont like traveling far for food etc and they had this bar on lobby of Hilton. Food was great and in evenings bartendera were amazing. Jackie, evan, Liria were amazing staff. Super attentive, knowledgeable about the hotel, services, and the area when i was trying to locate a place. Ill stay here everytime i come to lexington because of them. Only issue was 2 of the elevators were out one night so i had to wait 10 min for an elevator to get to the lobby from the 12th floor. That was minor so im not docking the amazing staff for something beyond their control.

My wife and I attend several events in downtown Lexington. We make it a point to stop and eat at the Big Blue Martini. (Great atmosphere ) We have been fortunate to receive awesome service from Liria, our waitress. She is courteous, nice and caring. She treats as though we’ve known her for years. Triple Gold Star to Liria. Thank you BBM!!
