The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

* Honey Garlic Boneless : sweet and crunchy. The sticky, sweet sauce was delicious to bite into.
*French Fries: Thicker than in n out fries, crunchy and airy on the inside. The salt granules are large and adds an elevated touch to the whole experience. A bit more expensive than we would imagine.
*Ddeok-bokki (medium) : spicy! And please note that there are sesame seeds sprinkled at the top. It is good to let them know in advance if you have allergies to sesame, which a friend did have (thankfully this allergy was not too severe)
I was appreciative of the few packets of hot sauce that accompanied our order. The portions for the chicken can always be a bit bigger, if you are looking to eat more chicken! However, given that this is seasoned chicken, I think a good amount of chicken was provided. I would order this again when hosting family or friends!
Thank you all for your kind service.
The Korean fried chicken here is amazing—crispy, flavorful, and you really can’t go wrong with any option. My favorites are the Gangnam Chicken, Honey Chicken, and Soy Chicken. The food takes about 20-30 minutes to prepare, but it’s well worth the wait.
The store itself is small, with only three tables that can seat about 12 people, but parking is easy. My only downside was the service—one of the cashiers (a Mexican lady) wasn’t very friendly, which takes away from the experience. Because of that, I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5.
Also the girl staff was so friendly and helpful. We would only come to this location from now on. The Irvine location staff have never been nice.
Their actual spot is quite small, I think there were only 3 tables inside for customers and a table outside in case you want to enjoy your food in the warm SoCal sun. The woman working the front was friendly, I believe she may have been the owner? We did take a little bit of time going over the menu before ordering because they have so many options. This is definitely a place you have to keep coming back to in order to work your way through the menu.
Our first time visiting we ordered the following: Secret Spicy boneless chicken, Honey Garlic boneless chicken, Kimchi Fried Rice, Cheese Sticks, Sweet Potato Fries and an extra side of radishes. Honestly everything was delicious! The pieces of chicken they give you are HUGE so it’s definitely enough for a few people to share. Personally I preferred the Honey garlic flavor to the Secret Spicy – just a warning I think the secret is cinnamon. A bit of a peculiar flavor to taste in chicken. Wasn’t really to my liking but it wasn’t terrible either. The cheese sticks and sweet potato fries were nice sides to have as well. But for me the main star of sides was hands down the kimchi fried rice. You absolutely HAVE to get this with your chicken – its the perfect pairing. That and the radishes are a nice palette cleanser and offer a tasty crunch to the meal!
The food all came out within a reasonable amount of time. I could tell it was all fresh from the kitchen. And the service was great! The woman that took our order up front was awesome. I’ll definitely be coming back to this specific location to try more of their flavors!
bb.q Chicken is known for their crispy & tasty Korean fried chicken, but I LOVE their Rosé Ddeok-Bokki, which came in a stainless steel bowl and steaming hot!!
It’s a bowl of chewy-tender rice cakes and fish cakes smothered in a gochujang sauce and cream. A perfect balance of creamy, rich, slightly nutty, sweet, spicy and umami. Optional to add cheese.
It’s a creamy spicy delight!!
It has a small indoor seating so keep that in mind if you have a larger group.
