The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

It’s pretty good Korean fried chicken. Not a long time to place the order as it’s done at the front mainly.
While it took a while for the food to come it came out hot and fresh. The chicken was nicely fried and crispy, and seasoned generously. Got both the standard chicken as well as the cheese chicken. Not that much of a fan of the cheese one, it’s very powdery.
The onion rings were also crispy and nicely seasoned.
Overall pretty good place.

Yummy hot fresh juicy chicken wings! Loved the spicy original and the golden original. Spicy original is slightly spicy not too much. I didn’t like the dips though. Tried Gangnam style and some hot sauce dips and they both were sweet. Gangnam was just soy sauce. So not for me. But other than that, the chicken was awesome! Absolutely recommend this place.

These are probably one of the best Korean wing places I’ve ever eaten at in the Bay. Stopped by here a couple weeks ago on a Saturday evening and it was decently busy. Most people did order just for takeout.
For 2 girlies, we ordered the small (8 wings) in both the soy garlic and the secret spicy flavors, along with some fries and a bottle of soju. WOW. I’ve never had a wing flavor here I don’t enjoy.
The wings are nicely fried and crispy, the sauce is flavorful without being overwhelming. The fries? Same thing. I love their batter.
My only slight gripe here is the price. It is a bit pricey, especially compared to American wing stop. But considering that the wings are fairly large, it doesn’t deter me from coming here.

Ordered a small boneless honey garlic chicken and cheese fries. The cheese fries were a fun twist on fries. They were long fries coated in a cheese powder with a spicy almost gochujang like sauce. The chicken was nice and crispy, the meat was the right amount of firm inside. Overall the flavor coating on the chicken was a good pick, definitely does not make you feel over-sauced at the end. Place gets busy during the dinner rush. Otherwise, very chill place to grab a bite and chitchat. Service was fast and enough parking outside in the plaza.

I love Korean fried chicken. I have tried all Korean fried chickens from various restaurants in the South Bay. So far, bb.q chicken in Sunnyvale is the best. You can tell how fresh their chicken is by looking at the color of the bones. They are pink and shiny (unlike most other fried chicken places) – which means they are very fresh. My favorite is soy garlic but original is also very good. Wish they have a matching service and atmosphere. They need a bit of improvement in service and atmosphere.

It’s a pretty solid Korean fried chicken chain overall.
Their crunch was good and chicken was juicy. Nothing that outstanding about them but then again they aren’t trying to be either.
Overall for the pricing and such they are definitely worth a visit.

We ordered via postmate. The chickens were surprisingly still crispy after delivery. I live the pepper sauce and secret sauce. The price is on a higher side. Rose Teokbokki with cheese was just ok, maybe it would be better if we dined in. Overall, the food is good.

It was so good! Chicken was fried and served hot, while the customer service was pretty good. You can sit down and enjoy the food whenever you want buy online order or via a kiosk.

I’ve been watching a lot of Korean dramas so I had an urge to eat some K-BBQ chicken and tteok-bokki. Wow, the chicken was tasty. Also, the batter held up nicely and was just as crunchy as leftovers warmed in an air fryer the following day. There is enough chicken in one combo to share between 2 liters eaters. We ordered 2 different chicken lunch combos (one with rice and the other with fries) and the rice cake which was way too much for 2 of us to finish. The reason for the down-grading of stars for the food is because I got a headache both days when eating the chicken and tteok-bokki. Not sure if it was the saltiness, spiciness, or seasonings used. The wait is long but I guess that means it is made fresh after ordering. I found it weird that water is not freely offered for dine-in customers (must buy bottles). Because you can only imagine how thirsty we were after eating the saucy-spicy chicken and rice cakes, right?

I went there on a Tue night. Picked this location as it shows on Google search and google map that it opens till 10pm vs the Apple Park location that closes at 9pm. Stepped into the restaurant and it has a counter right by the front entrance. I asked the staff if the place stays opens till 10pm and she replied “around 9:15- 9:25pm”. We ordered the medium wings and fries. The fries were very tasty, piping hot and definitely freshly fried. I definitely prefer it over the sweet potato fries that we usually ordered since this is much tastier and crispier. The chicken wings came out after quite some time and the taste is on point but the size is a little lacking. This location also did not have cups and water for customer to self-serve unlike the Apple park location. They also do not provide customers with plastic gloves unlike the other location. The seats were also less comfortable as they were placed very close to the table. Overall ok, but I might choose to go to the Apple Park location if their closing hours are actually similar. I was thinking if the Google map or webpage indicated the closing hours as 10pm, they should either update their operating hrs online to reflect the actual closing hrs or change their closing time to 10pm to match the time shown online.
