The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

Great food and great service, they gave us free drinks when food order came late. We would have been happy to just wait but it was appreciated.

Personally I come back for the honey garlic sauce and secret sauce chicken, both me and my boyfriend agreed the boneless one has best value since we are meat lovers.

Bottom line , go for the garlic chicken

I ordered pick up from this place today. I have wanted to try it for a few months. I ordered the Spicy Original Wings and a side of the Hot spicy Sauce. The sauce and radishes were awesome!
The wings were not. I really like the fried outside of the wings.

The wings we barely breaded(like falling apart with bare spots) and were very tough. I finished about 3 or 4 of the wings(the flats). In the picture I took, you can see all that meat that is left on the bone (very dry and rough). Plus I ordered spicy wings with a side of spicy sauce. The wings were not spicy, with the sauce they were spicy.

Now I am still hungry… 🙁

honest question who puts that much freaking gochujang in their kimchi fried rice. it was practically inedible, i had to add twice the amount of rice to balance it out when i got home. otherwise a lovely place and service, no shade whatsoever to the waitstaff/cashier.

Great place to go for lunch during the work week. Quick to order and food is delicious and filling. Ordered the spicy gilbi wings, bulgolgi bowl and kimchi fried rice bowl all were delicious. Got extra sauce which cost an extra $2 per. Would recommend to anyone, especially those who are down with great Korean music!

The location of this korean fried chicken place is in a business area so it is pretty dead on the weekend and there is ample parking. While there was plenty of seating with kpop videos playing in the background, we opted for takeout. They have a variety of different chicken flavors that you can get whole, as wings, or boneless. We tried two different flavors of boneless wings (soy garlic and gang-jeong) and a kimchee fried rice. The boneless chicken pieces were huge, crispy and covered with sauce. We probably should have tried for more variety as both flavors were similar (gang-jeong was a lil spicy). Overall we were impressed with the amount and quality. Would come back again to try other chicken flavors.

Stepping into BBQ Chicken Sorrento is like entering a realm of culinary finesse. The decor? Chic and inviting. The ambiance? Absolutely spot-on for a casual yet sophisticated dining experience.

Service is where they truly excel, with Ian leading the charge. His approach is the perfect blend of professional and personal, making every guest feel like the guest of honor.

And the wings – oh, the wings. Each bite is a testament to their mastery of BBQ, a symphony of flavor that’s hard to forget.

BBQ Chicken Sorrento isn’t just a meal; it’s a statement. Must-visit? Absolutely.

Excellent quality, delicious food. I have been meaning to try this local Korean chain for some time and finally got a chance during a overnight stay in San Diego.
I was pleased with the food quantity and prices. There is an extensive menu offering wonderfully unique Korean fried chicken with various sauces and side dishes.
If you are looking to try Korean food and want something a little more familiar to the American fried foods you are used to, try this place. Odds are, you’ll love it.

Relaxing vibes (when it’s a long weekend!), good portions (even at the small sizes). Excellent flavor, and mindful whether patrons have nut allergies. Recommended for good chicken!
