The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

We came on a Monday evening around 8 pm — no wait, and the place was pretty quiet except for one group of young adults at another table. The restaurant was clean with a casual vibe and good background music.
We ordered 8 pcs of boneless Honey Garlic and 8 pcs of boneless Spicy Galbi, plus the Kimchi Fried Rice, Rose Ddeok-Bokki, and two bottles of Cass beer. Our total was about $83.
The Spicy Galbi had a nice kick and smoky flavor (my favorite), while the Honey Garlic was sweeter and my boyfriend’s pick. Both were flavorful but a little dry inside. The Kimchi Fried Rice was decent but could’ve used more seasoning — especially salt — and the chicken in it was also a bit dry. The Rose Ddeok-Bokki was rich, creamy, and super tasty (though definitely not for anyone lactose intolerant!).
Overall, it’s a great casual dinner spot with friendly service, good music, and cold beer. We’d recommend it and would come back again!

Normally this place is absolutely amazing and I highly recommend. However, I just got an 8 piece delivered to me and there was no breading on the chicken. Soooo that’s a first. I wouldn’t be even that upset if it wasn’t for the fact that when I asked for a refund I only got money back for the exact price of the chicken. No taxes, no delivery fee. Not the kind of customer service I like. Every other time I’ve eaten here, service and food is fantastic. Just disappointed this time. Actually this just happened a 2nd time and they are trying to tell me that this is how they are supposed to look. DO NOT BUY GANGNAM STYLE HERE. The rolling meadows location makes them amazing though

I definitely like their lunch special that they have everyday. They offer either a rice bowl or a boneless chicken meal with fries and a drink. Reasonably priced I think. The food took a while, but it came out hot and fresh out of the fryer. The french fries were crispy and the boneless chicken was juicy. The rice bowl was okay. Would I get it again? Probably not. I was not a huge fan of the sauce that the rice bowl came with, but the chicken tasted good.

We came to bb.q on a Friday afternoon and were seated promptly. Love the call button. We ordered both boneless and traditional wings. They are so delicious. Wings are big, meaty, juicy, and crispy! Lots of flavor. Pickled radish is a nice cool down. Fries were super crispy and tasty. Server forgot our rice, caught her mistake and didn’t charge us. Atmosphere is a bit generic, but food and service make up for it.

I’ve always loved the fried chicken at this restaurant. I dine here often, and after eating, I usually order extra to take home for my family. It has consistently been one of my go-to spots.
Unfortunately, tonight’s visit was really disappointing.
After we were seated and placed our order, we waited quite a long time. I completely understand that weekends can be busy. However, as we watched several tables around us receive their food and start eating while we were still waiting, it honestly felt like our order had been overlooked.
When our food finally arrived, it was placed on the table rather abruptly, which caught me off guard. More importantly, when we started eating, the fried chicken was cold. I didn’t make any assumptions — I simply and politely asked if it could be reheated.
The server responded without looking up and said, “We can’t reheat it,” with no explanation or effort to offer an alternative. It wasn’t just the response itself, but the way it was delivered that felt dismissive and unprofessional.
We ended up packing up the untouched food and leaving. It was frustrating, especially because we genuinely enjoy the food here and have supported this restaurant for a long time.
Food: 5 stars.
Service: 1 star.
I truly hope this feedback reaches management. I would hate to stop coming because of one negative service experience. The food is excellent, and with more attention to customer service, this restaurant could continue to be a favorite for many families like ours.

I’ve dined here quite a couple times and never had an experience like yesterday. I’m not sure if the waitress was new but her attitude wasn’t the most welcoming. The food is always good but my daughter’s plate came with a guest… The owner did not come out an apologize for it nor did they remove it from our bill. Not to mention how don’t you have take out bowls for soup. If you don’t finish it u have to leave it behind. I personally like talking my leftovers especially if I pay a lot for it to begin with. We came here to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and they made us feel like it was a bother to be there. With that being said we will not be returning to this establishment.

Stopped in for a late dinner, good service and we were attended quickly. We had the boneless wings since they were out of the whole chicken and bone in wings. We tried soy garlic & spicy galbi and they were tasty! They were both crispy and good flavors.
Food was great, only complaint is the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. My girlfriend and I decided to take the food home since it was so warm inside.

1st time order for carryout. Really impressed with the quality of the chicken. We got both boneless and traditional in 3 flavors. All of it was delicious! We’ll definitely be returning to this establishment.

I ordered Ddeok-Bokki with cheese, but to be honest, it tastes well without it. The sauce is slightly sweet and has a pleasant spiciness.
I also included the original golden wing (bone-in). It’s really crispy, but I don’t enjoy the aftertaste. I’m not sure if it’s from the bread crumbs or the oil. It reminds me of sesame.
