The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. We had the garlic honey and soy sauce garlic boneless options. Our 18-month granddaughter had her first Korean fried chicken and she loved it. There were some indoor seats and plenty of outdoor tables, but we had takeouts so we can have our lunch at the nearby Irvine Regional Park.

First time trying this place. Honestly, I came here only because I was pressed for time and my other favorite Korean fried chicken spot was too far. From the jump, the service was lack luster. The employees looked bored. I told them I was new and despite giving them that information they did not go into any detail describing what they had. The chicken looked great. Smelled great. I had their boneless chicken in secret sauce. The initial taste was good but the after taste was odd and unpleasant. For the price that I paid for this meal, it absolutely was not worth it. The place definitely has its fan base as people were coming in and out to pick up their to-go orders. So just for the benefit of the doubt, perhaps I did not order the right thing. However, the price and the unpleasant experience for me is enough that I am not willing to gamble a try again.

I used to go to the location on Jamboree, but I started coming here after a friend recommended this location to me and I’ve never looked back. The staff at this location are much friendlier, and the chicken is much better. Not to mention, this location has more menu options! I also don’t have to ask for picked radish on the side like I used to at the other location (which always ended up in lazy staff giving me a look and a small container of a couple pieces), because one container of picked radish comes with every chicken order.
I usually get the boneless garlic honey, soy garlic, or black pepper. I love them all. I first tried the black pepper flavor when I was in Korea and was stoked to find out that they have it here as well. Their chicken is fresh and perfectly cooked. No smell and no hard to chew pieces.
The staff are always friendly and fast. Whenever I step foot in this place I feel like I’m back in Korea. Definitely recommend!

Been coming for the awhile but this is going to be our last. Came here on Thursday around lunch time with our family who came to visit us.
What we ordered: 2 lunch specials. (Caribbean spice, honey garlic). Small 8 chicken wings soy garlic. Small 8 boneless chicken soy garlic. 2 gyoza.
The reason why this will be the last because it looks like there wasn’t any sauce on the chicken and we had to pay extra to add more sauce. Who does that…as you can see from the pictures…it’s just a small drizzle. Which was really sad.
I love to eat the picked radish and we also had to pray extra for more of the picked radish….it seems this place is money driven…not customer service driven.
The server didn’t seem to help us. Wasn’t kind or friendly. Also one of the Togo boxes had a dead bug in it…..so yah…no thank you.

The food is really good, especially the golden chicken with a little spice. But the stuff is really rude, they’re not coming at all. The atmosphere in there kinda bad, cause of stuff, whenever we asked smth the server didn’t say a word, and like that makes kinda awkward . It feels like they don’t want to do their job. Always have gotten the whole chicken with half being original and the other half being the secret sauce. Everytime I get chicken here, it’s consistent, the breading is crunchy and not too thick, and the flavor is great. After eating the secret sauce, I tend to just dip the original chicken with it and it completes my meal. I tried dine-in instead of pick up, and they definitely take care of their customers. Might come here more often to just snack and chill with friends!
