The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

The problem, however, is everything else. The very first thing you notice when you walk in is the awful smell that lingers throughout the restaurant. It honestly smelled like sewage, and it was so strong that it made me want to vomit. It’s incredibly hard to enjoy your meal when the entire space smells like that, and it makes you question what’s going on with the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant itself.
Another issue is the pricing. For the amount you pay here, the value just isn’t there. Chicago and the surrounding suburbs are filled with Korean fried chicken spots that not only serve larger portions and more flavorful chicken, but also do it for a much more reasonable price. When you compare bb.q Chicken Niles to those alternatives, it becomes obvious very quickly that this place doesn’t measure up.
For me, this location is really just a last resort option. If you’re absolutely craving Korean chicken and don’t have any other choices nearby, it’ll do in a pinch, but I can’t see myself coming back regularly. Between the sewage smell, the high prices, and the fact that there are so many better options in the area, I’d suggest skipping this spot and going somewhere else instead.
We ordered honey garlic wings and galbi wings. The galbi wings were good, but the honey garlic wings were next level. We both agreed that they were the best wings we’ve ever had and we’ve been to several Korean fried chicken places. We appreciate that this place actually serves sauces that are truly mild/no spice since some other bigger establishments in the area are very spicy even if ordering mild.
The chicken was juicy and the breading had the addicting crispiness that Korean fried chicken should have.
The fries are also very good and are pretty much like straightened out curly fries. Can’t wait to visit again!
We love the Niles location! Always such a pleasure to pickup the order. Food is always fresh and tastes exactly as it should!

Dine in today and had the sweetest waitress. They make the chicken fresh so for a larger order it is about 30 mins wait. But sooooooo worth it.
Our favs are the Gangjeong wings and Gangnam wings. The first ones are sweet and spicy and the second is peppery and spicy. Both are amazing with the house daikon to cleanse the palate.
We also ordered the rose ddekk- bokki rice cakes . So yum.
Do remember to ask for gloves to eat the wings

Gotta eat them fresh n’ hot. The sauce on the chicken was not completely even but the taste was superb. The crisp shell lasted couple of hours with the crunch.
Definitely game day must have!
What impressed me the most was the outstanding service from the female manager. She was incredibly friendly and professional, which made the entire experience enjoyable.
The ambiance is cool with cool lighting.
We ordered the following items for a total of $57 dollars:
– Sweet Potato Fries
– Kimchi Fried Rice
– 8 pc Secret Sauce Boneless Wings l
– 8 pc Honey Garlic Boneless Wings
Honestly the only thing I liked here were the sweet potato fries the wings were basic and the sauce lacked flavor.
Overall: 3/5.
I suggest getting the honey garlic or soy garlic wings for maximum crisp and flavor, but my go-to is the hot spicy wings. They’re not as crispy but have amazing taste.
The price is fairly expensive, however.
