Pretty decent Korean fried chicken place. I loved the wings and the honey garlic wings. Would recommend carry out as it is small on the inside

I came to eat food here and noticed one woman in the kitchen brushing her hair next to the plates. I asked the cashier if she could tell her to stop and she said it was fine because she doesnt touch the food. Her hair was getting on the plates and i was dissapointed by the cashiers response. I was sitting there eating and it ruined my apitite. Please think about customer experience in the future.

I first walked in and I noticed it was clean. The young lady that took my order was very polite and attentive. I ordered a side of the honey garlic sauce and was charged $2 and some change and I thought that was a it high. The container will be in the picture. The food was pretty good but some of the chicken was hard not crunchy hard but hard to chew but edible. The bathrooms were clean which is an added bonus. I would like to go again and try some of the other dishes. I ordered the lunch combo.

Firstly management is amazing. I placed a delivery order through a third party. I completely did not like the cheesling flavor. Management was so kind as to make me another order, I chose Gangnam style. The remake was perfect and exactly what I was looking for!!!!

This restaurant is well known by locals but is a bit hidden away for those who aren’t familiar with this restaurant.
We ordered honey garlic boneless chicken, japchae, and the Rose Ddeok-Bokki.
The chicken was fantastic. Crispy. Hot, coated with a sweet honey garlic sauce.
The Rose Ddeok-bokki was great too. Sweet, Spicy, Saucy. Chewy. Rice cakes, cabbage, and fish cake.
The japchae was disappointing to me – overly salty. Overly soupy. Too much soy sauce.
One thing struck us strange.. The entrance advertised an app for repeat customers to get points – just like many other restaurants. When we ordered, and asked how to get the credit on the app, the waitress didn’t know. We ended up having to “cancel” our order via the waitress and re-submit our order via the app despite dining in the restaurant. A minor inconvenience with the misunderstanding for a new customer. Perhaps the waitress is new. That’s ok.
Enjoy the food!

Just a few short months ago (at the beginning of the year) this location of the chain sold big, juicy, crunchy, delicious wings with great sauce at a decent price. Unfortunately, since then the food has gone steadily downhill and is now inedible and sad.
With each subsequent visit, the size, quality, and prep of the chicken has gotten worse and worse. On our last visit, the “boneless wings” resembled a lackluster order of chicken nuggets from Chick F-la. No crunch, no tender meat – just dried out, stringy, chewy little nuggets that were sad to eat and look at.
Not sure if they have different chef, different suppliers, just trying to save $$ on product, etc. But either way, whatever they are doing, they are now serving a terrible product that offers absolutely zero value for money for its customers.
Its a shame, as I know they are capable of better; apparently they have decided that saving money is more important than providing quality. Too bad.

Absolutely disgusting. The restaurant dumped tons of garlic powder (as shown in the picture, these are all garlic powders) on the fried chicken—so much that just being near it makes you cry. No normal person could possibly eat this. The moment you take a bite, the overwhelming garlic burns your throat and makes your eyes tear up. I had to throw it away in the end. Total waste of money!

My husband and I have made BBQ Chicken one of our go-to spots when we don’t feel like cooking. The wings are always delicious – my personal favorite is the soy garlic bone in, which has the perfect balance of flavor without being too spicy. The prices are fair, portions are generous (2 smalls lasts my husband and I for dinner and lunch the next day), and our food is always ready for pickup exactly when it says it will be. We haven’t dined inside, but based on the takeout experience alone, BBQ Chicken has earned a permanent place in our dinner rotation.

There are lots of Korean fried chicken places in the DC area and I don’t get out to enjoy it as often as I’d like. A friend suggested this place in falls church and it was well worth the wait. We had the honey garlic & the hot & spicy which is drizzled with a red chili sauce with just enough kick to satisfy the not so spicy snd and spicy eater. The chicken explodes with flavor with a nice exterior crispy texture & infusion of marinade on the inside. You’ll be licking your fingers unashamedly! We also ordered some flavorful fries and pickled radish. Definitely worth the try! We waited a bit but it’s cooked fresh & you can most certainly taste the loving effort.

I was in the Falls Church, VA area and decided to visit bb.q Chicken for the first time. The place decor is very simple and functional, with big posters of their Korean fried chicken flavors. There is an outside patio up front with ceiling fans but it was too hot to eat outside, so I sat inside. They do have table side service, but while I was there many people came to pick up orders, so it seems that part of their business is being “to go” which explains the sparse interior. I was presented with a menu to chose from chicken, whole or boneless, and select the sauce. There are other Korean dishes to have, plus many American sides like French fries. I ordered the boneless (breast meat) chicken in their “special sauce” and a kimchi fried rice. Also ordered a strawberry ramune, a Korean carbonated drink with a weird bottle top that both the manager and me struggled to open (which was a funny moment, we had to follow the diminutive instructions on the wrapper!). The boneless fried chicken arrived hot from the frier, crispy and covered with a sweet and tangy sauce (their “special sauce”), and it was crunchy and delicious. The kimchi friend rice was a huge portion, enough for two, and with a lot of kimchi pieces and thigh meat chicken pieces, which was a surprise since the chicken in the rice was not advertised. As traditional, there was a fried egg on top, but it was overcooked (Korean dishes served with a fried egg always have them runny, to be mixed with the dish, whether it be a rice dish, noodle or a bimb bap style). The rice was hot, freshly made, and spicy from the kochuchan and the kimchi itself. One of the best fried kimchi fried rice I have ever had! I was also asked if I wanted a complimentary side of Korean pickled radish (a little “banchan”), which I did get, and the little crunchy and slightly sweet cubes were a refreshing compliment to the meal. The service was friendly and efficient. Overall a great experience.
