Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. Today my roomie & I ordered food from BB.Q Chicken and we asked the waiter to dine in, pointed out that it was raining and he said “no you can’t eat To-Go orders in here” he made us walk back in the rain!!!!

Your classic Korean fried chicken with so many options to choose from! Great flavor, crispy and good value for what you pay. For some reason they had the place so hot inside during winter. The service was great and the place was not very busy for a weekend time. Was nice to see they had a bar area and served alcohol since it wasn’t super clear online. Always get a Sapporo draft and it was refreshing as usual. We tried the honey garlic and Gangnam style wings and both tasted great. I wish I could give them 4.5*, just wish it wasn’t as hot and they had happy hour or drink specials to checkout! I really hope they make it here as this is a difficult location. Will have to try tiger sugar Nextdoor for drinks next time.

Good food, great location! The wings were fried golden and crispy, sweet potato fries were outstanding. I wish that the wings themselves are also slightly flavored and not completely relying on the sauce to provide the flavor.

TERRIBLE service . My daughter and her roommate went there for lunch today to collect their pick up order. It was raining a lot and they asked the waiter to eat their food inside – which they already PAID for – told him it was raining and he said “you cannot eat a to go order in here.” He made them walk back to campus in the rain!
Absolutely disgusting behavior to make two college kids walk in the rain for food they bought at your restaurant. If you’re feeling to eat fried chicken go to the Buffalo Wild Wings next door instead, they’ll treat you better!

This 3- week old chicken joint (3/25/23), will no doubt be the next must go chicken place in Columbus. Though located near OSU campus, it has a convenient parking garage behind the establishment.
Tons of flavor selections, my favorite is the Gangnam (Spicy) Chicken. The balance between sweetness and spicy level just hits it perfectly in my palate. And the crispiness of their chicken elevates them above the rest of the chicken place in Columbus!
The staff are very hospitable and keeps a smile on their faces. It has a spacious dine-in area and also serves alcoholic beverages. It might be a little pricey than your typical chicken joints.
So, if you’re a chicken fanatic, did I say Korean chicken fanatic, this spot is for you!!!

I loved bb.q Chicken Columbus! This was my first experience with Korean fried chicken. The chicken was covered in thin crispy batter bubbles that shattered in your mouth. The chicken was not only juicy, but the sauces that coat each piece elevate the explosion of flavor. We ordered the cheeseling, Gangnam and honey garlic chicken with a side of tteokbokki. The cheeseling was the most unique chicken flavor I’ve ever had. The chicken was covered in a cheesey dust, a coating so heavy that you have to be careful about inhaling too close to the wing. It took me a second to appreciate the flavor because it was so unique, but I feel in love quickly. In addition to the cheeseling chicken, I loved the tteokbokki. The consistency of the sauce was so velvety, it was almost like gravy. Even though it was spicy, it was rich in flavor that was sweet and tangy.

The boneless wings here are huge and absolutely delicious. We have enjoyed everything we have tried here and their service is also friendly and welcoming. The server recommended we sample a few sauces and even brought over her own recommendation. We’re so glad she did as that is the sauce we went with. Highly recommend!!

I like this place better than the other similar places around Columbus! We tried the wing form of soy garlic, spicy galbi, and secret sauce, and the boneless of hot spicy. The boneless was amazingly juicy and crispy, not over coated or over sauced. My body is recovering but the spice level was appropriate!! Loved the soy garlic too, and the secret sauce was pretty good. The galbi was a unique flavor and I don’t know if I’d get it again. Would 100% get soy garlic and hot spicy again. The dumplings and fries were average but the onion rings rocked!

I ordered a small, boneless Golden Original and Cheesling, and found the pricing to be reasonable. The chicken was served with ample pickled radishes, so I didn’t feel the need to order additional ones. Despite the place being open for only two days, the waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The two of us left feeling satisfied but not overly full. I would highly recommend trying the Golden Original with a side sauce to try them out.
