The chicken wings are consistently delicious here – definitely my favorite Korean fried chicken place in the area! You can’t go wrong with any of the flavors and I recommend trying their French fries. Service is friendly and quick too.
HOWEVER, I cannot give the full five stars because I have noticed in recent orders that the soy garlic wings have been prepared with less and less sauce. I overlooked this in the past, but in my most recent soy garlic wings order, I was very disappointed to find that there was only a small drizzle of soy garlic sauce on top of the wings (see photo). Meanwhile the other wings I ordered in flavors like the secret sauce and galbi were fully covered (and delicious).
I do recommend getting food here, but i hope the attention to quality improves, especially since the soy garlic is supposed to be a bestseller.

I wish i can give zero star. We ordered half original and half hot spicy. Hot spicy sauce is not even properly tossed around with chickens…. picked radish is not even given….. and most importantly, some chickens were slightly undercooked. Very dissatisfying. Never going to this restaurant again. My money was wasted.

I stopped by bb.q Chicken in Bergenfield craving some Korean BBQ-style chicken, and it did not disappoint! The chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy inside — exactly what you want from authentic Korean fried chicken. The sauces (especially the soy garlic) were rich and flavorful without being overly sweet. Portions were generous and everything arrived hot and fresh. You can tell the owner really takes pride in the quality of the food and service — friendly staff and quick takeout, too. Highly recommend this place if you’re into Korean chicken!

First time having it at this location. Small menu, decent combo meals. Grabbed a honey garlic order to go. Wow so moist and crunchy. Was very surprised by the portion sizes. Grabbed sweet potatoes and coleslaw, decent serving, definitely will be back.

This chicken was insanely good. Every bite was crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. Honestly, it was so delicious it should be illegal. I’ve had a lot of chicken in my life, but this one? Next level. Absolute flavor explosion. 10/10 — would fight someone for the last piece.

I came for the first time here. I bought the original crispy spicy chicken wings, regular french fries and the regular ddkeok-bokki with cheese. It was delicious. The fries and chicken were nice and crispy. The spicy original chicken order was absolutely delicious and had the perfect amount of spiciness. I even got 1 or 2 extra pieces of chickens wings from the 8 pieces I originally ordered. I’ve always been interested in trying Korean food. I knew the ddkeo-bokki was going to be a mixture of a spicy and sweet sauce. The sauce was good but was not my preference due to the sweetness. The sweetness was not overpowering but it was not my preferred dish. I loved the rice cakes inside the sauce. I would definitely recommend this place. I ordered on site and within less than 20 minutes the food was ready. It’s a great atmosphere. The staff was kind and polite. This is a small place with no dine-in options but it is very clean and it’s fairy new.
