The bb.q in our name stands for Best of the Best Quality, and that’s exactly what you can expect from every one of our restaurants. Our Korean fried chicken is crispier, juicier, and more tender than anything you’ve tasted before, and our sauces provide an eclectic mix of flavor. Every dish is the result of both longstanding Korean tradition and modern research and development from our very own Chicken University. It’s a tremendous amount of work, but it’s all worth it when you take that first bite.

Mind you, if they were busy at all or about to close, I’d partially understand this level of service. But they didn’t close for another 3 hours, and there was only one other party of 2 in there.
Food was alright at best, which is a shame because I have been here multiple times before & food was amazing.
Also, they tacked on a mandatory “large party” 18% gratuity for a party of 4, (5 people there, only 4 ate though) which we felt was poor business practice. Overall very poor experience, I would not come here again. Go to the location in Quincy.
The takoyaki was fine, but too much batter and did not taste in house made. There is better at less expensive places.
The boba tea though was an affront to boba. Don’t order it. It was like 5 bucks for the smallest cup imaginable (pictured) and you can see how much ice there is in it. I got maybe 6oz of actual “tea” if you could even call it that. It certainly was no milk tea I’ve ever had. Tasted like water with a bit of tea. Terrible.
All in all I don’t think I’d go back but it was fine for a quick pick up.
The servers were absolutely lovely and not culpable at all but the management and cooks need to be held accountable.
This chicken was awful and I am sad because I really love bb.q from other locations.
I did place my order and it was done in less than 10 mins and other places usually cook on the spot so it would take like 20ish -30 minutes.
They drench everything with spicy sauce, even when you order the golden original or soy garlic.
The meat itself doesn’t look properly cooked. Looked pink and grey. Texture was that of rubber. The breading was soggy. Terrible. I throwing away 75% of the plate in the trash. I forced myself to eat a quarter of it out of guilt for throwing away food.
But unfortunately, this is no longer the case. At all. I’ve had it a couple times at this location in 2025 and it’s been terrible each time. I only kept going back because I used to enjoy it in the past. I figured, maybe I was going on an off day or whatever.
The most recent time I had it though was the worst. I ordered Golden Original boneless wings and after getting halfway through the meal, I noticed that the texture was off. I pulled a wing apart and I was shocked to see that the inside was bright pink. I literally felt so disgusted in that moment and sought a refund.
This location needs to go back to what made them an easy place to recommend years ago. But for now, it is a skip until they can fix things.
