This is a cute bar with older (but clean) feel. Walk in and see a fish tank to the left, old looking bar stools, and the ceiling filled with designs.
Food is good. Has TONS of choices. We had the cheddar bacon bites, fries, and chili. Typical bar appetizers and good chili.
All servers were friendly and fast. They seem to work well together.
Atmosphere is very welcoming, had older feel, but seemed a little “beat up.” Was clean and music a good volume.

Basil’s is a solid spot with great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The menu has a lot of tasty options, and the flavors are consistently good. The staff are friendly and attentive, and the fish tanks throughout the restaurant are really cool — they add a fun and relaxing vibe to the space. It’s a great place for a casual meal with friends or family. My only minor note is that it can get a bit busy at peak times, but it’s worth it for the quality and service. Highly recommend!

Decent little place. The food was ok, had the ham and grilled cheese, and fries were delicious. Only had water, but that tasted good if it helps. Lunch time, not real busy, so was nice to eat there.

It’s a great local spot to sit and enjoy your time. They have a great beer selection to choose from and they take pride in their pours. The really respect their atmosphere and don’t tolerate rude people.

We had a bloody mary best one in the area. Garlic cheese curds were good as well as the old fashioned and the expresso martini with chocolate crown. Jalapeno ravioli was wonderful. I will definitely be back. Bartender was nice and knowledgeable

The food is really good here. I used to DJ downstairs when it was Mark‘s firefly lounge back in the day and then it changed to another name and now back to Mark‘s. I also got all of their music set up for their bar next-door when they first opened years back. I absolutely loved coming here until last night. We were in the parade and had a great time and decided to go here for food and drinks. We got here about 8:40 PM last night. The guy bartender served all of us after I asked for three drinks. My son who is 16 was with us. We were looking over the menu for about 10 minutes after we got our drinks. A woman came over and said is your son 21? I said no, but I am his parent and I know the Wisconsin laws. Hell, I was always going to the bar with my mom and singing karaoke when I was literally 15. She said sorry, we have a policy that minors cannot be in here after 9 PM. If you’re looking for food, we can make it to go. I slammed all three drinks down and we took off. It’s not like we were bothering anyone or getting drunk or causing any scene but we will definitely never be back. I think it’s absolutely crappy what happened. I could understand if we were causing a scene, but we were peacefully sitting there, trying to order food and have one drink! What difference does it make if it’s before or after 9 PM? What is the real difference? Absolutely nothing. We have been coming here for years and always enjoyed the drinks and food, but after last night‘s disappointment, never again. You just lost our business. Thanks but no thanks. The first bartender should’ve informed us instantly when we were ordering the drinks as you could tell that my son is not 21. The woman bartender said she knows the Wisconsin laws and understands minors can be in the bar, but according to their policy, they have specific rules. Absolutely unbelievable.

This place rocks. The vibes were great. The bartenders were nice and attentive. I had my first ever spotted cow. The Bazil’s Garlic Cheese Curds were delicious. I will be back!

Stopped at Bazil’s on our way to Green Bay. Ordered their hamburger and an order of tater tots. The food came out quickly. The burger was decent and appeared to be flame broiled. The tots were good also.

Love this place! Liked it so much went back twice in the same day. Super atmosphere, what you’d expect in a northern bar. The beer and spirits selection is second to none, the food was sooo good. Founders Chocolate Cherry Stout and their home stout aged in Eagle Rare barrels, oh man! It’s bar food but incredible and great variety. Highly recommend, wish I had this place in my town!
