Butter chicken is now my new favorite. The sauce was so rich and creamy, and was jam packed with flavor. Don’t be afraid to spice it up. I ordered it Indian hot, and it was still tolerable. The jasmine rice was cooked perfect and had great flavor. Even the house salad was good and fresh. I went with a ginger beer to drink, and it was a little over priced in my opinion ($6) but it was fantastic. I will definitely be back, and highly recommend stopping in for some quality Indian cuisine.

Nice casual, but elegant atmosphere. Nice service although it was a little slow. The food was tasty (a little expensive though) and you can choose spice level. I recommend 1-2 for people who can’t handle much spiciness.

We were at the Art of the Brick exhibit and it was dinnertime, so off we went to try Bazil. The restaurant is in the complex behind Chipotle near Walmart, and there is plenty of parking. They greeted us as we walked in but said there would be a 35 min wait. We said we were in no rush and would just grab some drinks at the bar. In that case, they said they would seat us and get us drinks but to be patient for ordering food for a bit. This communication was key because as long as expectations are set upfront, people are usually understanding of situations.

Absolutely delicious food and excellent service – we loved everything we tried here and I would gladly come back anytime. Highly recommend. I generally like spicy and this place was spicy so that’s a good thing, but heads up that their 3/5 spice level would probably be considered “quite hot” by many people (and I know some people will say “oh you just don’t know spicy”, and – fair. But the point is that a lot of restaurants do the spice equivalent of grade inflation these days and Bazil most definitely doesn’t).

Five stars! I took my mother here for early dinner on Mother’s Day. First of all, walking in- what they have done with the decoration and remodel is amazing. It looks beautiful. Next, the service is unmatched. This family business is somewhere you want to support, the knowledge and passion about their food is very clear. The gentleman who served us was kind and helpful. Most importantly, the food was wonderful to top it all off- you’ve got to try the Basil Lamb and Aloo Gobi. We will be back!!

We ordered paneer sizzler, bagel chaat and Baighan Bharta. We were not impressed at all with bhel as it was missing some key ingredients like tomatoes, coriander leaves and onions. Now coming to Sizzler, cauliflower and broccoli was undercooked. Bharta was ok not great. Hence 3 stars on food.

Wanted to try a fine dine in with Indian Cuisine. The ambience is good but most of the windows in the restaurant have there blinds open which spoils the fine dine in feel.

I’ve been to Bazil at least 5 times and everything has always been top notch. Impecable services, pleasant atmosphere and great tasting food. I especially enjoy the Dal Makhni and the Samosas. If you like Indian food, definitely give Bazil a try!

Great date night Indian spot. Vegetable Samosas were flavorful with a nice dipping sauce. The Lamb Vindaloo was delicious with complex flavors. The Bazil’s Mix Grill of tandoori items was a bit of a let down. Only one piece of salmon and one shrimp were given and the lamb was dry. Service was friendly and attentive. These folks are better than most places we have tried in the Triangle but I prefer Mirchi’s Indian Kitchen & Bar in Cary and Viceroy in Durham. Glad we tried them out but not sure we would return.
