The Bazaar by José Andrés is truly an unforgettable dining experience! absolutely worth it. Every dish we tried was outstanding, beautifully crafted, and full of creativity and flavor. From the small bites to the larger plates, everything was prepared with so much attention to detail that you can’t help but savor every moment.

The presentation alone is a work of art, but the flavors are what truly leave an impression. Each plate brought something unique and memorable to the table, and it’s the kind of meal that genuinely feels special from start to finish.

The service, ambiance, and overall experience make this restaurant one of our new favorites. If you’re looking for a place that delivers exceptional food and a one-of-a-kind culinary experience, The Bazaar is absolutely worth it.

During our anniversary trip a little while back, we dined at The Bazaar by José Andrés inside the Waldorf Astoria D.C., and it was a truly memorable highlight of our celebration.

Even though our actual anniversary had passed a few days earlier, the staff went out of their way to make us feel special. When they asked if we were celebrating anything and we casually mentioned our anniversary had already come and gone, they still surprised us with a beautiful anniversary dessert. That thoughtful gesture really stood out and made the evening feel really special.

The food was absolutely outstanding. We ordered several tapas to sample a variety of flavors, and everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The most memorable dish for me was the little Japanese melons—so delicate and refreshing, they could have easily doubled as dessert.

Our waiter was professional and attentive, and the ambiance was stunning. Our table overlooked the grand courtyard of the Waldorf Astoria, adding a sense of elegance and occasion to the entire experience.

Highly recommend The Bazaar for anyone looking to celebrate something special—or simply indulge in an extraordinary dining experience.

Everything about this little gem was fabulous. We sat at the bar & had the Bazaar Classic Experience, which was equally visually stunning as it was tasty. Best were the Sweet Chips, Neptune’s Pillows, and the Churrasco.

Sitting at the bar, we were mesmerized by the mixology team, who were polite & helpful while they crafted, shook, stirred & poured the most elegant cocktails. Especially fun was the Frozen Caipirinha.

You can’t help but feel sexy sipping and snacking at this spot inside The Waldorf Astoria. We will be back

We came here for dinner and were very impressed. The plates are all small and perfect for sharing. Each bite is bursting with flavor and we couldn’t get enough. The caviar cone was especially delicious & the jambon Iberico is not to be missed. Great service and great wine selection as well. The venue itself is incredible- especially decorated for the holidays.

The Waldorf Astoria is a gorgeous setting for this restaurant. The hosts were attentive and we were seated promptly at our reservation time. We got the deluxe tasting menu and pairing to match, and the sommelier was so knowledgeable, he was a delight to chat with between courses. I love that the chefs are really accommodating about dietary restrictions, too. Overall, I wasn’t blown away by every course, but the ones I did love, I love enough to come back and try again. The main dining area overlooks the lobby of the hotel, so I’d return for the atmosphere alone.

Always a pleasure dining with Jose! I came twice during this trip once for Thanksgiving with the tasting menu and once for a weekday dinner. As always the food is creative, delicious, beautiful and fun, as is the cocktails. I didn’t love the ambiance as it was in a large building that felt cold and I kept my jacket on for dinner but it was still beautiful as per usual with the bazaar. I was a little said the air Philly cheesesteaks didn’t have as melty warm cheese as before but most of the dishes were amazing!

We went for our Anniversary and couldn’t have had a better experience. Our server Kitty was phenomenal, the food was decadent and perfectly cooked and seasoned. From the way the staff made sure that the water bottle was facing, to the placement of silverware, the attention to detail was unmatched.

This was my first tasting menu, and our servers made sure we knew exactly what was in each dish to how the chef recommends it be eaten.

We had an amazing time, and it was definitely a memory we will hold onto.

THE BAZAAR, located within the luxurious Waldorf Astoria D.C., offers a truly phenomenal dining experience. This was our second time visiting, and it was just as impressive as the first.

The atmosphere is absolutely phenomenal. The restaurant’s setting within such a prestigious hotel creates a sophisticated and beautiful ambiance that makes every visit feel special.

We were fortunate to visit during Restaurant Week, and we were incredibly impressed by how generous they were with the discount menu. The offer was a fantastic value, and the option to upgrade to the crab meat paella-like pasta for just $25 more was an unbelievable deal. The dish itself was delicious and amazing, a perfect example of the high quality of food they serve. It was truly one of the best deals we have ever gotten. We enjoyed each dishes and impressed again!

The food and service were both amazing. The staff was attentive and went above and beyond to make our evening memorable. They even provided a surprise for our anniversary, which made our celebration feel incredibly special and personal.

THE BAZAAR is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination for a remarkable culinary experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit and will always come back to this wonderful place!

This is probably the nicest of the JA collection in DC except for Bar-Mini and Mini-Bar.

The food was good often with inventive presentation or deconstructions that were intriguing without sacrificing quality for show.

Our server was nice but slow and not very attentive. Maybe he didn’t want to work a holiday … in which case you should stay home. If you’re going to work then you need to bring your best effort.

Service is usually just as great as all the other aspects of JA restaurants, except on this occasion.

Pictured are the deconstructed key lime pie and liquid nitrogen used to make/transform caipirinhas.

We are, admittedly, foodies. It is hard to wow us. We have enjoyed tapas in Spain and Portugal. To say that The Bazaar was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had is an understatement. The presentation, the blend of flavors and unique offerings was impressive. There was nothing that was not a pleasure to the palate and the eyes.
