The best wings I have ever had!! We typically pick and choose what days we will visit this restaurant because sometimes the music is loud and hard to hear conversations, mostly during weekends evening hours and during sports seasons. We prefer a softer atmosphere with a less rowdy crowd. We’ve always had great service and never had to wait for a seat. Never had an issue with our food. Everything we’ve ever gotten here has been really great.

Took forever after getting seated to finally flag someone down to wait on us. A rude young lady stopped by our table and asked us”do you need something”?. We say said yes we would like to be waited on. She walked off and a man came over and asked if we needed to order. We did order. Our food was hot and average. The server walked off and we had no utensils to eat. We asked the young lady for utensils when she walked by and she would not look at us but came back, dropped them off, and walked away. We finished, left a small tip, and left.

I’m not often 100% in love with the food I get at restaurants, but I was here. The seafood chowder was so delicious I wanted more! The Brando’s Mexican-style Philly was amazing and my husband’s Buffalo & Jam burger and Bleu Cheese Fries were too. All around excellent. I was surprised.

The Bayview Restaurant is really great! The views of Sitka from upstairs are superb and make the meal and time there worth it. So grab a beer and people watch or check out the mountains and harbor. The staff is very friendly and the service overall has been on point here. The prices are on the higher side, but it’s Sitka and a common place for tourists to eat. So why not go play tourist? I especially like their chowder over others in town. Stop in and enjoy this place when you get a chance. It’s often self seating and there are options to sit in a few different areas. Order some rounds. Have fun and enjoy this downtown gem!

Visiting Sitka from Texas. This place was recommended by a local taxi driver. Great food. I had the Halibut & chips – great. Cooked to perfection. Wife had blackened rock fish and seafood chowder. The fish was awesome with a little spice. The seafood chowder was absolutely amazing. I would definitely go here again on my next visit to Alaska. Service was quick, efficient, and friendly.

Nice facility with welcoming staff. “Philly Cheesesteak” very close to what you get in Philadelphia but with steak cut slightly thicker. The waiter stated that the roll was an Amoroso, and the texture and quality would suggest this to be so. No sauce available to make it a pizza steak. Local beer tasty. Much more expensive than in Philadelphia, but to be expected in Alaska. Salmon burger reported to be excellent.

We had a nice meal at the Bayview while on shore from our cruise. The place was packed but the staff found room for us and were right on top of things with the service. Nice local place to enjoy a pint and meal.

Happy customers, honest staff and welcoming atmosphere in the restaurant. Fewer staff were wearing the mask ! Clean toilets.
