We came here for a quick lunch. The place was packed and we needed to seat ourselves. We found a table at corner of restaurant. We waited for long before waitress to come to clean the table. Then we waited for a long time for waitress tom take our order. I ordered a bratwurst and my wife ordered a double cheeseburger. The bratwurst was very small and tasted ok. The beef patties were pretty thick and tasted great. The table picked was very small and space was extremely tight. I was not very comfortable. They probably put as many seats as print the restaurant. Not a pleasant lunch. Based on seat comfort and service speed, we will not come back.

Bayside Tavern goes 110% in on “Cozy & Comfort”. Relaxed, laid-back atmosphere with a menu built for everyone. Had the Vegetarian Garden Burger with a side of fries. Classic music & quick service in a North Wisconsin Tavern. Plus it’s in the middle of everything Fish Creek. So relaxing to visit Peninsula State Park, see all of the beautiful nature, go shopping & then to end the day feeling full. Truly a perfect piece of the Door County, Wisconsin experience.

We had such a great experience at this tavern. The burgers were delicious, and Ruki’s friendly service made the evening even better. She welcomed us with a warm smile and made us feel comfortable right away. Her recommendation of the porter was a perfect choice. We really enjoyed it. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Ruki as our server again.

Well Bayside had a nice ambience, nice food, service was ok. On the plus side they do have gluten free options and the price was pretty friendly. For a low sodium meal, I had the Leif Salad with a Grilled Chicken Breast- green pepper, black olives, mushrooms and onions. There was a lot of black olives… for our two meals it was 33 dollars.

The food is amazing and we ordered and in under 5 minutes we had our fresh delicious check out the pictures below. And the prices are very reasonable and very great service. We were staying in Fish Creek for a couple of days and decided to get dinner here on a Sunday night (in February). It wasn’t busy at all but when we approached the bar to find out if we should seat ourselves and it seemed like we were invisible. No one wanted to take time to help out the strangers in the room. Eventually we were able to ask a bartender (as she attempted to walk away from us) whether we should seat ourselves or what.
After seating ourselves, we did have a waitress come over and tell us the specials and soup. We ordered, got our food and drinks and the waitress returned when we had about 3 bites left. Half of my burger had barely touched the grill (it was bright red but only on half, which was really weird) but the waitress came back too late to let her know.
The buns for the burgers were amazing. But the burgers come with “chips”. Don’t think delicious homemade bar chips, think Ruffles.
The Porter beer I ordered was delicious. However, the non-alcoholic Guinness my husband ordered was, at best, foamy brown water. No flavor, no body, nothing like beer. We did inform the waitress and she did take the cost off our bill. I will give them credit for that.
All in all, I cannot recommend the Bayside Tavern.

First time here- my husband & I met another couple. Bartender waited on my husband right away but didn’t even acknowledge I was there. Finally ordered & got a bloody mary. My celery and pickle were both rotten. Told the bartender & all I got was “sorry’. Was not busy and there were 2 bartenders working, yet service was non existent. We were going to order food, but left instead and went elsewhere. I know its a struggle to find people in the off season, but please try to find someone who actually wants to do their job.
