Had a large party come here for a Sunday hang out. The number of people was explained in the before reservation.
The set up was nice but it needs to be explained how to get to the door for this restaurant as it’s a part of a parking lot that accommodates other businesses and condos.
Some of the food that came out was not hot unfortunately. For the cost it should be ensured for proper temp. Maybe it was because of the large number of the party but I’m not sure.
My party came here on one of the coldest sunday nights in November and since the restaurant sits waterside it was even more cold. The heat definitely did not feel like it was working this night. I kept My outerwear on for the entirety of My stay.

After searching for a good restaurant online, I decided to give Bayside Cantina a try but unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing from start to finish.
When we arrived, no one was at the front to greet us. We waited about five minutes before someone finally came to seat us. Once our waitress arrived, we placed our order, but the food did not meet expectations. My first taco was bland and completely lacking flavor and there was no seasoning or salt at all. None of the dishes we tried had any real taste or freshness.
I also ordered a virgin drink, but it had a strong, stale taste that resembled alcohol. I didn’t catch a buzz, so I suspect it was due to the mix they used, but it was definitely unpleasant.
Unfortunately, things got worse after leaving. A few hours later, I became very sick with severe stomach pain, vomiting, and diarrhea that lasted into the next day. I believe it may have been due to undercooked or old meat in the birria, as that was the only meal I ate that day.
I truly wish I could give a better review, but based on my experience, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. The food quality, taste, and safety all fell far below.

Beautiful restaurant located right off the promenade with the best views of the harbor. They have a great happy hour deal on wings and drinks. Juan Carlos is one of our favorite servers, but every server we have had has been friendly, fast, and provides excellent service. Excellent margaritas, and the pollo en crema is to die for! They start you off with tortillas and salsa, and even if you are full, you just can’t stop eating because everything tastes so good! Great brunch deals, too! They have inside and outside dining. I’ve gone on my scooter a few times after ankle surgery and had no problem accessing all parts of the restaurant. If you sit outside close to the promenade, it’s a great place to watch all the cute dogs getting in their daily walks. It’s also a dog friendly place, so you can stop in with your dog for a quick drink or a meal. They will even bring your pup a bowl of water!

We were excited to try this place because we’d heard great things, and honestly, the food we did receive tasted amazing. Unfortunately, the experience took a nosedive when one of our dishes was completely forgotten. When we pointed it out, the staff seemed flustered and tried to fix the mistake by rushing the dish out — but it arrived uncooked. Not undercooked — raw. It felt like they were more focused on covering up the mistake than serving safe, quality food. No apology, no accountability. Extremely disappointed. We won’t be back.

Bayside Cantina is a fun, waterfront Mexican restaurant and bar in Canton with one of the best outdoor views of the harbor in the city. The vibe here is laid-back and social — perfect for brunch with friends, a sunset dinner, or happy hour by the water. The menu features familiar Mexican-inspired dishes like tacos, burritos, enchiladas, wings, and fresh guacamole, plus a creative cocktail list that includes fun twists on margaritas and other drinks.
What I like most about this place is how relaxed and festive it feels — sitting on the patio with a margarita and that waterfront breeze makes it a great spot for weekend eating and drinking. Service tends to be friendly, and the happy hour deals are a nice bonus if you time it right. The food quality can be a bit hit-or-miss (some dishes are great, others feel average), but overall it’s still an enjoyable Mexican-style hangout with a view.
Overall: a chill, scenic Mexican restaurant with tasty drinks and a vibrant atmosphere — especially fun when the weather’s nice.

Food came hot and fresh. A great place to eat outside when the weather is nice. The crab dip was delicious!

Came for happy hour, our flautas were burned and had fuzz in them. Margaritas were too sweet and weak in a small plastic cup even for happy hour $9 was too much for these the Service was slow but server was pleasant. Our last margarita was ordered at 6:59(1 minute before hh ended) and arrived about 15 min later. We were charged non happy hour price for that one. 18% gratuity is included in your check, regardless of service. The view is nice though.

The shrimp Nachos were good portion. The bartender wasn’t very friendly but the drink was worth the cost. No crab dishes were available- they should change the menu. I came for a celebration. Not compelled to return.

Salmon and vegetables were delicious!! I would order that again. The views are amazing!!! Very nice.
However, the tostones seemed refried a few times to the point they had lost the plantains taste already.
Also, we had to wait a long time for our food and ended up inquiring about our food. The waiter didn’t really give us a good reason for it.

My friends and I just went in for drinks and the view outside by the water. The drinks were great! Nice and strong but tasty. Wasn’t a huge fan of the complimentary salsa, 6/10. The queso was good! A solid 8/10
