Bayshore Café Lounge in Newport is such a gem. The menu is amazing with a wide variety of options, so there’s truly something for everyone. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and the customer service was excellent from start to finish.
The space itself is adorable — a really cute indoor area and an inviting patio that makes you want to linger. What really stood out, though, was the hospitality. The owner was incredibly friendly and even brought us complimentary soup, which was such a thoughtful and welcoming touch.
Great food, great atmosphere, and genuinely kind people. We’ll definitely be back!

The food here is awesome. The vibe is pretty great too. It was a bit empty when we came for a 6:30 dinner, but they were setting up a band for later. Only downside is the road noise, but otherwise a perfect evening. We ordered hummus, fried mushrooms, lamb kebab, and beef combo kebab. Super tasty, and very tender and juicy meats. Definitely will come back!

We’ve had consistently great experiences with Bayshore Cafe, both dining in and when using their catered food for events.
They have a great menu, with plenty of options. We love the steak and mushroom pizza. The pizza is packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and has a great crust.
We’ve also used them for catering for events, and their ground beef kabobs are always a huge hit—juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with high-quality ingredients.
On our most recent visit, we had the baklava for dessert, and it was absolutely amazing—perfectly sweet and flaky.
I have also heard good things about their breakfast, so we hope to be back soon to give it a try.
I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for excellent food and great service.

A must stop-by when coming down to Newport. The best beef kabobs I have had lately. Tender soft and juicy unlike typical dry and hard ones. Don’t get me wrong, the chicken is one of the best too. The milky rice is perfectly flavored. Everything is ultra fresh. The owner is super sweet and friendly. We came during the day but I bet the vibe at night would be even more amazing.

Excellent service, food, and ambiance! I took my mom and daughter here the night after Thanksgiving, and sat on the patio. The food was amazing, and the drinks were tasty. The owner stopped at our table, and was so inviting and kind. Highly recommend! Thank you for a wonderful night!

Took 10 min to bring water. Like 40 to make my food and wasn’t checked on once. Meal was $44 and the best part was the toast. Asked for Sunnyside up eggs which are supposed to be runny but they pretty much gave them to me raw. Some guy also kept coming in and yelling at all the employees. Also decided to move all the tables around blocking the bathroom and walking space.

Such a great experience at Bayshore Café — amazing service, a refreshing mojito, a delicious Smoked Salmon Tartine, friendly staff, and a beautiful atmosphere by the bay. Can’t wait to come back!

Bayshore Cafe Lounge is an excellent restaurant all around! The food is delicious, I love the baklava, it’s the best I’ve had anywhere. The atmosphere is great and the service is wonderful! The staff are very friendly and attentive every time we’ve dinned in.
