This is my 1st visit here. I didn’t know what to expect and when I walked in I was so surprised on the amazing space like feel and atmosphere. The décore is beautiful. Anthony was our server and he knew everything about the menu and even the background of the restaurant.
We ate a couple of his recommendations and we were not disappointed. Everything was delicious and the presentation was a 10 out of 10. We have to come back cause there is too much to try.

Excellent service & food! We arrived around 4 PM on a Sunday & there were only a few tables seated. Great “wow” sort of atmosphere. There’s something going on everywhere…the walls, the ceiling, the booths… Nice use of lighting. Our server was super friendly, attentive & did a good job of taking care of us. First, we enjoyed a smoked Salmon Roll. It tasted fresh & nicely presented. We started off both meals with salad with ginger dressing. Katsu is Japanese comfort food & the curry pork Katsu is just that. A generous portion of panko crusted pork cutlet with white rice & small bit of cabbage & a bowl of hot green curry sauce. The sauce is a little spicy & “grows” as you eat it. BEST Katsu I’ve had in a long time. Hubs had the hibachi chicken with fried rice & veggies. He said it was all cooked really well & very tasty. We both had leftovers. Portions are very generous & on the biggest plates ever!

I seen this place on Instagram and told my wife we are going to try it and stopped in on our first night of vacation in Florida. We had the pleasure of meeting Anthony “Ant” as he was our waiter tonight. I have been reviewing food and places to eat for a long long time, i have been visiting Florida 2 or 3 times a year for years & sometimes 3 weeks at a shot and have only had 1 other comparable experience as he delivered a 10 star service. He definetly took our first time here and turned it up a few notches. From his great work ethic to his personality and bringing a sort of family vibe to the table. He really made my whole family feel like we was breaking bread,Laughing. Remincing and just having a great time. He recommended us every single food item we ordered and delivered on that as well.
The whole place is great and im definetly coming back here and requesting him if he is availible. I would recommend this place 5 out of 5 times.

It was my husband’s and I first time visiting Bayridge Sushi. We stopped in just to try something new and we were not disappointed. Ricky was our server and he was amazing. Very attentive and gave us great recommendations. He took his time to explain the different things on the menu. The food and drinks was delicious! The atmosphere was very relaxing which was perfect after a long day of work. We are already planning another visit with our friends.

My husband and I came here for a date night and WOW! The service was incredible, the atmosphere was perfect, and every dish we tried was amazing. They even have a beautiful private dining room with a fun hidden-style door to enter through. I started with an espresso martini while my husband ordered a Thai tea. We tried a lot, but my favorites were anything with wagyu, especially the Trilogy Roll! My husband’s favorite was the yuzu miso Chilean sea bass. Everything came out with such beautiful presentation. Such a great spot for date night! There were people next to us who were back for their second night in a row because they loved it so much!

The sushi was generously portioned, and the takoyaki was authentic. The prices were reasonable considering the size of the portions. The lively and entertaining service added to the overall experience. However, it’s important to note that you should not be overly hungry if you plan to dine here, as it may take some time to secure a table and another waiting period for your food. Despite this, the sangria was delicious, and we would definitely return to this restaurant.

The other reviews are right about the wait times for the food but honestly considering how many components goes into one special roll it makes sense no points of for that. The wait staff tho nice doesn’t check in on you often.
I ordered My Bae cocktail which didn’t really taste like Mango and more like a mix between Pepto and cherry cough syrup. The foxy lady and wave rider rolls were delicious but the OMG Roll was mid. I was very full so I took my mango guava cheesecake to go. And that was also delicious.

So I am reviewing this place. Still sitting in my dinner booth Bay ridge sushi. You really hit it out of the park. The ambiance, the decorations, the building décor the TVS, the screens, the lighting, the bench seats the floors, the whole décor is incredible. Now let’s talk about the food. First of all, the manager brought out our food, which was a nice touch. Because usually you see management just sitting in a corner pointing this guy walked over. And explained to us a couple of different things. JENNY was our waitress? She was very pleasant, very nice. Even brought us a $20 gift card at the end of our bill, we had to wait an extra 10 minutes. So they gave us the gift card. What a nice touch the sushi rolls, the sashimi. The drinks bluefin tuna with truffle, crispy, rice lobster rolls, I even had a deep fried out of control roll. They brought us crafts of water constantly. This sashimi was served on a bed of ice. They give you real chopsticks, not wood, then she? Once they give you it to go bag. That is lined for ice, very great. Establishment 5 stars all the way you would find places like this. In huge cities, not 20 miles outside of Orlando. Thanks again. Bay ridge. You guys again knocked it out of the park won the Super Bowl. And also won the soccer finals. You guys are real sports players. When it comes to the sushi world, nothing. But incredible word-of-mouth from here, best sushi in Florida…….AND I MEAN IT!!!!!!!

If I could give this place 20 stars I WOULD. Never have I been treated so well by staff and tailored to in every way imaginable. To begin, our waitress “Celina” was amazing! She saw we had a 1 year old and immediately brought us a small bowl of mixed fruit, so we could give her to chew on while the food arrived. Next, the food came out in no time and it was beyond tasty and amazing! It’s the best HABACI I have ever had. I don’t say that lightly, I travel all over the place looking for good habaci! Lastly, it was our little girls birthday and man would you believe they put on a show for our little girl that was amazing. I can’t wait to come back to this place. They have won my loyalty, and we now have a new habaci place!

Had a really great experience at Bayridge Sushi Japanese Restaurant. The food was fresh, well-presented, and consistently flavorful — definitely above average for sushi spots in the area. Service was attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.
