Our server was pleasant and did their best — not bad service by any means, just not especially attentive or memorable. The sushi itself was beautifully presented and very generous in size, but for our taste, the rolls were a bit overwhelming with too much going on in each bite.
I ordered the guava sidecar, which was unfortunately extremely syrupy and not something I could finish.
What really sealed the experience for me was a brief but uncomfortable moment while using the restroom. The same hostess who delayed seating us was standing directly outside the bathroom, leaning against the sink, and simply stared without saying anything as I exited. It left me feeling awkward and unwelcome — especially after spending over $120 on dinner.
While the food was good, the overall atmosphere and service made us feel uncomfortable enough that we likely wouldn’t return. I hope management can address guest interactions to create a warmer, more welcoming experience in the future. Dinner 9:50pm on Friday.
This place was an absolute home run! My nephew and niece announced, “This is where we’re having sushi,” and thankfully they chose very wisely. Bayridge Sushi did not disappoint. My sister doesn’t quite share the same adventurous palate as the three of us, but I think she enjoyed watching us crush roll after roll like competitive eaters in a sushi Olympics.
Service was excellent from start to finish. Our server took great care of us all evening, and while I didn’t catch her name, she absolutely nailed it.
I made a heroic attempt to convert my niece and nephew to Ikura (salmon roe)… and failed miserably. Turns out there really is a line in the sushi sand. Tiny orange flavor bombs that pop in your mouth? That’s where they draw the boundary. Their loss. More for me.
The menu is impressively inclusive, and after flipping through several pages of tempting options, I already know this is a must-stop every time I visit.
And the best part? My wonderful niece insisted on paying for dinner. Completely unnecessary, but incredibly thoughtful and touching. Watching her extend that kindness to her visiting uncle made the night even more special.
Fantastic food, great service, and a little Ikura drama for entertainment… easy five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Bayridge has some of the best tasting fish with an unbeatable price. I will be coming back for dinner next, to get the full ambience of the restaurant.
The interior is beautiful with fancy lighting all over. The service was impeccable. (Jenn took care of us today and she was phenomenal.) ❤️
Already looking forward to my next visit!
