This unassuming place is a real gem. We’ve passed it many times on the way to the beach. The parking lot is always full, and now we know why. Great menu of tasty food at reasonable prices. The fried gator, shrimp, and fish were all wonderful. We enjoyed a water view and live music. We’ll definitely be stopping again in the future!

The atmosphere was cute. The waiter we had on 2/25, outside on deck, was wonderful! I haven’t seen a server that kind and considerate in yrs! Hubby had all you can eat fish and shrimp while I had the mermaid platter. It was delicious. Gator appetizer was good and the margaritas? Yum! I highly recommend stopping by!

We came to the restaurant party of 5 to have dinner was crazy busy got on the wait list decided to grab a drink at the outside bar. Bartender was very attentive and quick! She asked if we were waiting on a table we said yes she said you can always have dinner at the bar so we decided to and very pleased we did. Charity was very friendly and did a great job! We will definitely be back to see her she made our visit.

This is the best in Weeki Wachee. Excellent service always, especially with Charity at the bar. She goes above and beyond to make sure you have a cold drink in hand. The food is always great. All you can eat shrimp is our favorite. I highly recommend.

We visited the Bayport Inn in April 2025. It was a nice meal on the rear covered deck. It was a warm day (85-90 degrees), but the shade and nice breeze kept it quite comfortable. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal. And like most places, the prices are subject to peoples opinions.
I found most of the prices to be somewhat reasonable. With good sized portions on most of our meals. Although it thought the price of my fairly small draft beer in a plastic cup, was fairly expensive. Not drastically so, but a felt a little overpriced compared to many other establishments we have visited serving the save type/brand’s draft beer.
I had wings, that were pretty good. I myself, chose an order of 10 wings. With a price of approximately $16 for 10 wings. But at the Bayport Inn, Their wings do not come with ranch or blue cheese dressing. That had an additional charge for me. Maybe it is just me, but I found that to be a nickel and dime situation. To be fair to the Baypost inn, I would have enjoyed them without blue cheese. But most people enjoy the dressing for their wings. And this is one of the very few places that I can remember, that charged extra for blue cheese with your wings.
Other than the nickel and dime add ons. We found the Bayport inn to be a nice and enjoyable dining experience. Its positives outweigh the few negatives. So anyway, I feel the Bayport inn is worth the visit. I can see us visiting again, sometime in the future.

excellent food. Excellent atmosphere. They have live music playing on the weekends. It’s right near the water. Close to some beautiful locations to watch the sunset. The staff was friendly and courteous. The staff was attentive. It’s wheelchair accessible. There’s some small shops right next to it. They have anything from seafood to burgers to wings. The portions of the food was pretty good. Once you leave there, take a cruise to Pine Island, and enjoy a small beach environment here in Hernando County.

Fun little place on the salt marches. We enjoyed looking out over the salt marshes while having a margarita and raw oysters. The service was good, the oysters were delicious with horseradish, lemon and hot sauce as toppings. They were $26 for a dozen. (7/2025)
