I can’t say enough about this deli and the family who have been running it for years. Hands down the best egg sandwiches and my mother absolutely loves their potato and macaroni salads. They always go out of their way to get to know their customers and have gone above and beyond for my elderly mother on many occasions.
They are not just a deli, they are an important part of the community.

This deli is truly a gem! You can immediately feel that it’s a family-owned business because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere the staff creates the moment you walk in. The workers treat you like family, always friendly and attentive, which makes every visit a pleasure. The quality of the food matches the kindness of the service—fresh, delicious, and made with care. A beautiful spot that’s become my go-to, not just for the great food but for the genuine people behind it. Highly recommend!

Ive been coming to this deli for many years. Egg sandwiches are best around and the lunch sandwiches are just as good. Sandy Bobby and their kids could not be finer people. They are welcoming kind and caring people. I watch them treat every customer as if they are best friends since childhood. Incredible people and an asset to our community.

This is by far the best deli on Long Island!! I have been going here for years, the owners are incredibly nice and sweet. The food is delicious, great snack & drink options. The deli is always clean, I never had a problem.

Bobby and Sandy run a clean operation. They follow department of health rules and regulations. everything is neat and clean and fresh. I’ve been going there for 15 years with my daughter. We enjoy their Long Island egg bacon cheese on a roll and awesome sandwiches.

Owners have “issues”, nasty, scream, chase customers away. Blames lack of business on “dog walkers” despite dogs being walked on PUBLIC SIDEWALK. Has SIGNS saying “Deli Parking Only” on spaces that are EMPTY ALL DAY. Stand looking out window, waiting to fly out front door & yell. At old people, kids, families. Carol’s has bent over backwards, put up signs, instructed Staff, etc., AVOID the Deli area. NOTHING pleases this crazy woman. NOTHING. The PIZZERIA on opposite corner LOVES dogs. THEIR Customers park in the SHARED LOT. Carol’s does NOT CHASE CUSTOMERS of ANY BUSINESS from a Parking Spot. ALL Customers DESERVE respectful treatment. SO MANY of “the dog walkers” (volunteers from community) stated they USED to go to that Deli. NEVER AGAIN. I used to go there. Back wall by Grill is DARK, GREASY. A huge ICEBERG in their freezer means it was never sanitized. A slow Deli is NOT the place to order “fresh” food. Package, bottle, OK. To make matters worse, this Deli is asking FRIENDS to leave FALSE BAD REVIEWS for a Non Profit Business, Carol’s, which has brought HUNDREDS of TikTok Followers to the Bayport area, including the Pizzeria, which is BUSIER THAN EVER thanks to the exposure. Sad.

Found this place by accident. Bobby and Sandy are very friendly fast and the place is fair. Also, there a bacon egg and cheese is really really good.

EDIT: If you would like to talk about being treating poorly, maybe we can refer back to how two of the employees, one woman and one man, chased after us and recorded us. Are you children? Do we leave our place of work to record 16 year olds? Not sure. I’m not sure who Sandy is, but the owner of this establishment did yell at the receptionist, which makes no sense, because the parking lot is to be shared. If there are more parking lot spaces taken up by the rescue, that is not something we can control. Maybe a kinder conversation would’ve gotten farther, as you’re yelling when the spots do not legally belong to your establishment. The problem is, the rudeness you display, even taking it far enough to leave your work, take out your phones, and RECORD either the cars or two 16 year olds (us). It showcases the kind of way you’d treat your costumers.
I used to go to this deli after volunteering at the rescue nearby. I would always order food and drinks from here and never had a problem until they yelled at the receptionist at the rescue stating that we were taking up their parking spots when they put up signs saying that we can’t park there and always follow their “rules” to avoid conflict. They yelled at the poor lady and the following volunteers when it’s a public parking lot and most, if not all, the volunteers park right on the left side of the rescue. I have also had my own encounter where I was treated poorly due to the fact that I forgot about the debit minimum of $10. They are unreasonably rude and yell at the volunteers just for walking the dogs on the sidewalk?? I wish the rescue would be more supported by the community.
