Since it was my first time here, I got several dishes to try. The seafood jambalaya, spinach gouda stuffed mushrooms, seafood au gratin and the bourbon bread pudding. Everything was wonderful, seriously. I would order it all again. We had not had bread pudding for several years, since leaving Cincinnati, and this did not disappoint. I can’t wait to go back!

Our whole fried turkey was charred black with inedible skin and dry meat. We were barely able to get enough (overly dry) breast meat off of it to feed 4 people. We could not get any edible meat off of the wings or drums. The thighs dried out to a crisp. This thing was way overcooked. We didn’t know the condition because it was wrapped in foil when we picked it up. Stuffing and gravy were bland.

Boiled crawfish are excellent . Plus they weigh the crawfish after they are cooked and then add the corn and potatoes so you actually get what you pay for.

The owner is extremely friendly and polite. They offer weekly menu and every day serves different type of New Orleans style dishes and soups. You can grab and go or dine in. Also offer refrigerated pre-cooked items if you prefer not to eat it right away. I don’t know much about Big Easy food, but I enjoyed it. Also, the price is affordable.

In celebration of the LSU Clemson game tonight, I ordered some takeout from the new restaurant, Bayou Market and Cafe at 6630 Central Ave. right across from Earth Origins in a small strip plaza. I got 3 dishes and they are amazingly delicious! Crawfish etouffee, hearty and savory over perfect rice. Seafood voodoo pasta with flavor and kick. Finally, shrimp and crab au gratin that is chock full of seafood meat, melts in your mouth and tastes like heaven. I highly recommend giving them a try. They even have refrigerated and frozen portions for quick pick up. You’ll thank me later 🙂

My husband found this place spur of the moment and wow! Every bite was delicious. The chicken so tender and the sauce was light but packed full of flavor. Im very happy we got to try a sample the bread pudding. We should have bought two containers of it! We shall be back and I hope to bring my parents along as well.

Love this Cajun Delight – Soups/Gumbos, entrees, dips and desserts are all the bomb!!! Just as good is the reasonable pricing and cleanliness. Changing weekly menus leaves you licking your chops while buffet style serving makes your order virtually immediately available. Have fun treating your taste buds to this “Norleans” Treat! Jp

Food is excellent. Went on Friday had the chicken sausage gumbo(excellent), bourbon rice pudding(fabulous), and Tina was even kind enough to heat up her last crawfish pie which is 5 stars. Couldn’t wait until Tuesday to get some more. Can’t wait to get back and have her crawfish boil!!!
