Bayou City Seafood and Pasta was a great experience overall. I started with the Cajun fried deviled eggs and fried shrimp—both were cooked perfectly and full of that Southern flavor you hope for. The red beans and rice were good, though they could use a little more seasoning to really make them pop, but I still enjoyed them. The real standout was the Zeus pasta—it was absolutely amazing and easily the highlight of the meal. On top of that, the service was excellent: friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Definitely a spot I’d come back to and recommend.

I love this place. This was my work bestie and I’s first time visiting, and the service was excellent, all thanks to Adam. He was definitely welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was truly great, from the appetizers – crab cakes, fried to perfection, deviled eggs, seafood pasta, and lastly, blueberry bread pudding. We got the $40 sized pasta and it was enough to share and take home. Adam suggested the blueberry bread pudding, I would have NEVER ordered bread pudding. Why? BC I don’t eat bread pudding. BUT! since he spoke so highly of it, we tried it. AND WOW IS ALL I COULD SAY AS I STUFFED MY MOUTH! THANK ADAM!!

My First Time Here And I Must Say I’m Glad To Have Been Able To Give It A Try. I Was Skeptical At First Because Nothing On The Menu Screamed To Me At First But I Eventually Chose A Caesar Salad And The Blackened Chicken Pasta With Angel Hair Noodles And I Wasn’t Disappointed In The Slightest. I Can’t Believe How Good All These Things Tasted And I Can Ensure That I Will Be Back To Get The Exact Same Things.
Update : I’ve Been Back And It’s Been Just As Good Each Time. I Love This Pasta Especially After Learning You Can Sub One Chicken Filet For 5 Shrimp.

This was my first time in Houston. This was a nice , clean and spacious restaurant, and I appreciated that the parking was free. Our server Chewy was friendly, engaging, and quick. I also appreciated that he knew the menu well enough to guide us in the right direction. Our appetizer and drinks were enjoyable. I had the alligator bites and calamari, However, the Poboy sandwich was dry. The breading didn’t stay on the fish and it lack flavor and seasoning the red snapper wasn’t good either the same with that breading. I’m not a fan of bread pudding. I didn’t enjoy this either. Glad it was free.

First time dining here. Service was more than impeccable. The food was delicious from the crab fingers and gator to the pastas. Definitely will be dining here again. So many pastas to choose from. The drink was amazing as well. If you love that kick of spice, I recommend this place.

I really like this place! My meal was delicious, and the service was great. Our server didn’t have much personality, but the manager made up for it — he walked around checking on everyone and was quick to take care of any issues that came up. Overall, it was a really good experience!

I took my mother and brother for their birthdays for lunch today. Riley was our awesome server. He was so accommodating and attentive. Oh and the food? Delicious! I ordered a cup of crawfish bisque and blackened catfish with jambalaya. The cup was a bowl and my meal was plentiful for a lunch portion. Everything was well seasoned and hot. I will be back again!

From South Ms so I have a good taste for seafood. Was a little skeptical at first about eating seafood in Texas but all food was great. Our waiter, Riley, knew just what to recommend and waited on us perfectly! Glass never went empty and food was brought out fast. Very friendly service. Will come back.

We visited this restaurant yesterday to celebrate my grandmother’s and grandfather’s birthdays. It was everyone’s first time dining there, as it had been recommended by a family friend. Unfortunately, the food was extremely bland and lacked seasoning.
We ordered catfish and fries, gumbo, spinach dip, and bread, and my grandmother ordered a pasta dish. While the pasta was just okay, it was not worth the $30 price tag—especially when comparable pasta at Chili’s for around $16 has much more flavor. The only items that had any real taste were the spinach dip, the fries, and the bread. Everything else was very disappointing. The catfish tasted unusual and seemed to have nothing added besides cornmeal for texture, and the fried shrimp was the same—no seasoning at all. The gumbo tasted like plain beef broth with flavorless shrimp, dry shredded chicken breast, rice, and green onions.
On a positive note, the atmosphere was nice, the restaurant was clean, the waitress was friendly, and parking was free and easily available. However, if you’re looking for flavorful seafood, this is not the place. If you prefer bland dishes with minimal seasoning in an otherwise great atmosphere, then this restaurant may work for you.

My husband and I have been going to Bayou Seafood when they were at their last location. Years later; we have never been disappointed. I was raised on the outskirts of New Orleans and I am extremely picky. My husband liks the Montana Pasta and I favor the Liberty Pasta and we always order an appetizer. Their fried mushrooms is great. And their bread pudding is outstanding.
We lo e their Gumbo!!
We now live in the Lake Livingston area and is worth every mile to travel their.
One either likes pasta and seafood or not.
WE LIKE IT VERY MUCH AND DONT MIND PSYING FOR A FANTASTIC MEAL.
