This has got to be the best restaurant in Nacogdoches! The stuffed red snapper was absolutely fantastic! Even the steamed vegetables were super flavorful! The hush puppies, the shrimp, oh man it was all great! And service was perfect. I highly recommend eating here if you want something that tastes good!

I have enjoyed going to this restaurant me and my other are normally regular customers. But it seems that they choose how your steak is cooked. We prefer medium and for 2 steak dinner total of 51.94 we should receive medium. Not be told it was cooked on medium.
Update: We have again tried the new location and are mighty disappointed. We again got the steak and shrimp request for medium cooked. Did not receive it only well done

Thus place Really Suprised me!! Everything was super delicious . The Gumbo was fantastic!! Oysters were definitely fresh sooooo goooood!!
The best part of this experience was They had Fried Alligator cooked to perfection the steak was very well prepared as well
Thus is Now one of My favorite Spots Homemade Seafood at its best

I and my wife ate there today, the service was horrible, the young gentleman that sat us down was always behind his computer, we had to ask for crackers then lemons for the food. The Mexican Cocktail we ordered was lacking the porper ingredients like cilantro and avocados ( they used to serve it that way a while back) the fish was very nicely cooked along with the dirty rice. But the service is most likely why we won’t be coming back.

Food was ok. Had the crawfish etouffee. Never seen it a mustard yellow color. Also had the blackened red snapper and six shrimp. The shrimp were about 16/20’s. The snapper was just a loin, not a fillet. They left the bloodline on it. I liked that the vegetables were still a bright color not over cooked and grey ( army green color ). I liked my vegetables a little less undercooked with a crisp. The rice was ok. Needed a bit more seasoning but edible. Overall I give them an A for effort. They also need to add different drinks to the menu. something natural and refreshing.and they also need to get rid of the dead flies on the window.. I would consider returning next time I’m in town to try something else on their menu. The pecan pie would be better if it was homemade and they should offer another fried fish other than catfish. Cod would be great.

Update…today tried grilled flounder with rice & veggies. Stick with fried. Cheap frozen flounder you can make at home.

Very basic environment, but clean and tidy. New Americans and alternative lifestyle individuals appear to be working hard to provide service, be accommodating, and create a pleasant environment. The grilled salmon, grilled catfish, and grilled shrimp were EXCELLENT. The dirty rice and salads were okay. We did not dine in, but may in the future. They offered me “a water” while I waited for our take out order. Nice young people…

The food is really good and we really enjoy almost everything they serve (BUT) the atmosphere is awful. The music is so LOUD you can’t even enjoy a meal or conversation with your company! Wish it was separate from the bar and the music! People have to yell at each other to have a conversation! They need a wall to separate them! Or move the restaurant section to the back area. The young man who served us is always very sweet and friendly! Please consider making a better option for your customers!!!!

I’ve eat here several times since they have moved to this place and way before back when they first opened a long time ago elsewhere the taste hasn’t changed still good clean food they are very consistent you don’t get that much .their shrimp is great. The bathrooms are wheelchair accessible and decent but like a maze lol don’t get lost! the young man that waited on us was doing 5 jobs at once it seemed he was definitely working n doing a good job .
