We had an absolutely wonderful dinner and drinks here! The bartender was so witty and friendly!!!! My friend had the chowda! I had fried clams and shrimp platter. Everything was fresh and delicious! We will 200% be back!!!!

We’ve been vacationing in Maine for years and had never been to Bayley’s. We are so happy that we went this past Friday. The food was excellent! Service was also wonderful with the most cheerful woman taking orders at the counter. There is also a dining room / bar upstairs that we did not see but several guests chose to eat upstairs and several came down also while we ate our meal. We will DEFINITELY choose them for out seafood fix on our next visit! Highly recommended.

Ive been to this location twice now and I usually give a joint 2x before I leave a review. The first time was about a month ago and the food was fine. Typical fare. My wife and I went this past weekend and the food Fisherman’s Platter was far over cooked leaving the clams and scallops very chewy. I won’t say its not worth it to go here as they have been around a long time I guess for me it was just a good experience.

DO NOT GET THE FRIED SHRIMP! How this owner justifies charging TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS a plate for what looked like teeny tiny canned shrimp I will never know. We could not tell which were shrimp and which were tiny batter balls. Also no clam roll on the menu? I been going there 30 years fir that clamroll. We noticed they were closed last year and we were pleasently surprised to see them back open. The bartender and drinks saved the day! We will be back for the bartender and that raspberry cosmo!

Best fried clams and clam cakes in Maine!
My meal was cooked to perfection – crisp on the outside and tender inside. No greasy taste either.
Staff is very friendly and accommodating to its customers.

has some very delicious seafood -So far I have tried the haddock nuggets, haddock sandwich, crabmeat roll, onion rings and of course shared the fisherman’s platter- We are highly impressed with the food, nice staff and it’s so cozy downstairs and wow upstairs there’s a nice bar – We are looking forward to trying everything on the menu

I’ve only had takeout crab rolls, but they were the best I’ve had in Maine. They were fresh, huge, and tasty. And the takeout window service was incredibly friendly and helpful.

The girl taking our order was very nice! We got the seafood combo, haddock and shrimp. They would not let me add on any additional, not even for the extra price they list there.
The shrimp were tiny and very fishy! Not fresh at all. The haddock was fishy as well. The portion was smaller than other places around here. Never going back.

The meal cost was as expected during tourist season however, compared to the competition around them I would say I was disappointed in the quality and quantity. My wife and I shared a seafood combo dinner with Haddock and Shrimp and added a bowl of clam chowder. The platter smelled a little too fishy for my preference. The haddock was ok but not stellar for the price. The shrimp tasted good but to me it sort of tasted like they had been previously frozen. Not sure. The fries were good and crispy. The clam chowder was acceptable but not as good as their competition near them. Overall, it wasn’t a bad meal by any means but I was thinking they were as good or better than the other seafood restaurants near them and in my opinion, they are not.
