It was our first time at Bayleaf after a recommendation from a friend. The entire experience was great and the food was amazing! We ordered Black Pepper Chicken, Aloo Papdi Chat, Paneer Pakoda, Chana Saag, Malai Kofta, Kadai Paneer and assorted breads.
Great ambience and a good place to go nearby.
Our initial papadi chaat was soft and after we pointed out they gladly made a fresh plate!
Chicken, Paneer Pakodas, Chana Saag and Makai Kofta were our favs.

I’ve gotten take-out from the Bayleaf a few times, and it was always excellent! The food is never bland or not spicy enough. I finally went to dine in tonight with my friend. For being a Tuesday night the service was very good, and there was enough people that it didn’t feel completely empty. I want to try everything on their menu because I know it will all be good!

Came here for a quick family dinner since my son attends Seton Hall. Service was kind and prompt. Food was excellent. We ordered Non Veg grill, Chicken Tikka, Chicken Keema, Butter Chicken, Paneer Tikka Masala and Chole and Taka Dal. All of the items had balanced flavors, and heat levels were perfect. So many indian restaurants just make food spicy and leave it at that. Not this place. Every dish was unique in flavor even though we ordered the standard go to indian dishes.Serving sizes were ample and more than plenty for our 9 person table to share with one another. Oh and the garlic naan was soft and pliable as well. Will definitely return. Thank you!

Great spot! Have been coming here for a few years and had an awesome Valentine’s day dinner tonight. Food is always flavorful and tasty, they have HUGE portions, and the service is wonderful!! Super reasonably priced too

OhMyGosh, my wife and I had such an enjoyable first time dinning experience yesterday at BayLeaf. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant are very nice. The server, Niel was pleasant and knowledgeable. The food was simply delicious. The vegetable samosas had a crunchy exterior and were tasty. The shrimp biryani had a hot yet spicy and enjoyable kick. The shrimp Malabar cooked in a tomato based sauce was also a delight to our taste buds. The garlic naan was also perfectly made.
Everything was absolutely delicious and plenty to satisfy us and have leftovers to take home. I strongly recommend BayLeaf for absolutely delicious Indian cuisine in a home felt environment by an incredibly welcoming staff .

Neil and Terrence, made us feel at home, serving us great chicken samosas, a great creamy spinach, with cheek peas, and curry lamb served with their delicious rice. Please, try it! You will love it. Don’t forget the garlic nan.

BayLeaf is like home to me and my husband. We come for takeout and we are always greeted by name Mr. & Mrs. David. Food is fantastic, no matter what we get. The ambiance is inviting, we plan to do a sit in date soon.
