Exactly as advertised. Fresh and delicious. Might be my favorite casual Chinese restaurant in the Greater Boston area.

I’d been hearing nonstop praise about this new spot, so we stopped by for a weekday lunch around noon. The place was nearly packed, which is something you rarely see even in downtown Boston on a regular weekday. We barely snagged the last available table.

Everything we ordered was amazing, and our favorites were the Truffle Shrimp Omelette, Fried Chicken Leg Quarter, and the Beef Chow Fun.

Truffle Shrimp Omelette – Intensely aromatic with truffle, but not overwhelming. The inside was extra creamy and soft, almost custardy.

Fried Chicken Leg Quarter – The best version I’ve had. Properly brined so the meat was evenly juicy and tender throughout. The batter was light, not thick or bready, yet still delivered a full, crisp crunch.

Beef Chow Fun – A dish I usually avoid, but this one changed my mind. The noodles weren’t mushy, and the sauce was fully integrated rather than pooling at the bottom. Spring onions and bean sprouts added just enough crunch without overshadowing the beef.

Highly recommend giving them a try if you’re craving well-executed Hong Kong classics.

Best Cha chaan teng in Massachusetts! Prices are amazing for the portion, quality, and speed of the food. Service is extremely quick and polite. Appreciate how all waiters wear black gloves and atmosphere feels really clean even though it gets really busy. The flavor of the food is very similar to when I was in Hong Long.

This place was very worth the hype. Very busy though. We went right in the morning after opening and luckily got seated right away. Servers were great and attentive. Food was unique and very tasty. Great portions. Good for sharing. We got the peanut butter French toast, pineapple chicken bun, and a chicken omelet on rice and iced milk tea with condensed milk.

Fun, energetic atmosphere with a great, unique selection of Hong Kong styled dishes. Odd that there was only one HK French Toast option which did not come with condensed milk but delicious nonetheless. Pineapple bun was crispy, warm, and flavorful and paired well with the savory ham and egg. Filling and decently priced.

Loved this place the moment we stepped in. It was quite crowded when we first got there but I took it as a great sign. We were seated quickly and the food actually tasted like heaven. Everything was so delectable and is a must try. I’m convinced that there is nothing bad on the menu. I ordered to go the next day because the food was so good and their to go bag is so high quality in which it keeps all of the heat in, showing that they care about the quality of their food even in the comfort of your own home.

Decided to check out this new spot for Saturday brunch. Super busy but it’s very easy to get on the waitlist & the wait wasn’t over long. Parking is tough but I was extremely lucky and nabbed a spot in the tiny lot out front. Service was fast and friendly. Food came out crazy fast but we definitely ordered the popular items. The garlic beef spaghetti was delicious & really enjoyed the rice rolls and fried chicken. Big fan of the iced peach tea too! Very cool decor and fun atmosphere. It’s also very family friendly if you come with children. Personally loved the food and service and will be back!

Pleasantly surprised with the interior. It does get really busy during peak hours but staff is friendly and accommodating. Decent portions, but Sorrowful Rice seemed a bit smaller in comparison to the other dishes though.

Dishes ordered:
-Black Truffle Scrambled Egg Toast
-Sorrowful Rice
-Sizzling Pork Combo
-Curry Pork Rice
-Crispy Pork Cutlet w/ Fried Rice

Great spot for food, I recommend the chow fun, the best chow fun i had so far. The quarter leg was really good, crispy and well season. I will definitely go back to try other stuff.

Tried this Hong Kong-styled “”Cha Chaan Teng” a few weeks ago. I was lucky to be able to park right in front of the restaurant. Otherwise it may be tough to find a spot, particularly weekends. English milk tea was great, similar, although not as good as, those in Hong Kong. Tried their baked pork chop rice, very tasty and the portion was just right. You can also see photos and decorations that reminds me of Hong Kong. Overall great restaurant, highly recommended, and will definitely go back to try more.
