It’s a cozy little sushi restaurant. Used to be our favorite place 20yrs ago when I work here. I will say the quality is nice but this is more like American chirashi than Japanese version. The taste is alittle diff. The fish is very fresh but somehow not sweet at all. The Hamachi kama is alittle of a letdown. It used to be grilled to perfection now its like deep fried. It’s not as juicy and tender.

This place has been around a while from what I hear from locals. It has excellent prices. The quality is really good, I had great Nigri Mackerel that where pretty large and very tender. The sake was exceptionally well priced and warming on a cool day.

We dined there this Wednesday (2/16). The sushi is NOT fresh. It’s chewy or powdery with a plastic-like taste. It’s disheartening to see $26 to get ten small frozen fish to sit on top of old stale rice.
