I went here for the first time a few days ago, and what can I say? It was fabulous. I went there specifically to try the raw oysters, and our server Dana was fabulous and explained everything to me about their food options. The oysters were perfect and the sauces were delicious. I had the rosé margarita and it was delicious, and their berry Moscow mule was genuinely the best I’ve ever had. The lobster dip was perfect, and the pita chips were hot. The view was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who was looking for a delicious menu of seafood with a side of great atmosphere.

After sending my husband several options for dinner prior to a night at the theater, he picked this restaurant and boy did he get it right. This restaurant did not miss a beat. From the amazing cocktails to the decadent desserts, we could not find one flaw. The seasonal shrimp potstickers were divine. The grilled peaches burrata was off the hook and the lobster risotto to die for. The berry burst cake was light and refreshing and the cookies and cream crème brulee was one of the best we’ve ever had. If you’re a coffee drinker, don’t miss their Americano coffee to end your meal. However, the best part was we only ordered the potstickers, our first round of drinks and dessert. Everything else, we turned over to our server, Mica. We gave her some general preferences but then told her to surprise us… and boy did she. All of her recommendations were spot on and delicious. Tyler, one of the managers, came over to see how our meal was and we told him to fire Mica and the kitchen staff immediately… tongue in cheek. Thankfully, he understood the assignment and knew we were pulling his leg. One of the best meals we’ve had in a long time and we are foodies. We will definitely be back, highly recommend!

We loved the lobster dip, and had a great time trying the different raw oyster options. They give a paper for you to choose the types of oysters you want, and the sauces to go with them. Our server gave great suggestions. It has a romantic atmosphere with a great view of Lake Erie.

Excellent food and service. Highly recommended. The best place in Erie for seafood, especially oysters. Great atmosphere and vibe. Four seating options, the main floor, the second floor, the patio, and the bar. We love everything we have tried. On this trip, we ordered the Cajun fried oysters, the bayhouse scampi, artic char (seasonal special), and the steak frite. They have delicious cocktails that are seasonal.

You are paying for the atmosphere. You are definitely not paying for the food. Great location, great atmosphere. & If flavor doesn’t matter to you then this is the spot for you. I spent $70 on a plate of steak fries & a lemon drop. Not worth it to me at all.

The place was absolutely beautiful and the food was amazing. The menu and drinks offer lots of options and they are all delicious. The staff is super friendly and helpful as well as kind. Everything looked amazing and the inside was very pretty. The raw oysters were very delicious. It is more on the expensive side though.

This restaurant is right on the bay front. I enjoyed myself to the extent that I wanted to go down to the bar and explain to the bartender everyone could hear her every conversation but I digress. I started with a peach burrata salad and a cocktail called autumn sparkler. Dinner was the seafood pappardelle.

I took my wife to Bay House & Oyster Bar Restaurant for her birthday. She had the Chicken Marquette and I had the Blackened Salmon. Both were excellently prepared. For dessert we tried the Tiramisu and the Carrot Cake. They were delicious. The location and atmosphere added to our dinner.

If you are an oyster fan this is a must stop destination! The selection, quality and available options are amazing. They even have a Rockefeller option for those who don’t like raw. Tables fill up fast on the weekend, but we were able to walk right in and get seats at the bar!

Bay House Oyster Bar & Restaurant was a great experience. The the oysters were fresh and the drinks were good and the atmosphere right on the water makes it even better. If you like oysters and Chesapeake Bay seafood, this is definitely a spot worth checking out. Good food, great views, and a relaxed local vibe. I’ll definitely be back.
