This place is definitely overpriced. The food portions are very small — if you’re a big eater, you could easily spend over $50 and still leave hungry. I made the mistake of ordering the chicken and shrimp pasta, which I finished in just a couple of minutes. The lobster bisque is also tiny and expensive. If you have a big appetite, I’d recommend getting a burger instead.

The one redeeming quality is the scenery and atmosphere. The windows overlook the harbor, and it’s especially beautiful around sunset

I’ve had a tradition of taking my son here for King Crab Legs for the past few years. Every other trip has been amazing, which made our visit this year so much more disappointing. We had a reservation, and after arriving the server took about 15 minutes to make it to our table. There were 4 other seated tables in the dining room, and I saw two servers working that night. During the dinner our drinks were never refilled, and the portion size has been drastically reduced from previous years. In the interest of full disclosure last year’s photo has a pound and a half, whereas we went with one pound this year. Even with the difference in order size this year’s serving was well below half of what we got last year. 4 full large legs vs. one and a half. I’m happy to pay market price ($125 for one pound this year) if I get what I’m paying for. To be honest it looks like they grabbed one of their half pound additions and gave me that since it was end of day. Very disappointing to see the change after so many years, we will definitely be hesitant to return.

Everything was great. Our server Lori was phenomenal, kind and professional. We came in at 920pm and this was the last place open in the area. Our only minor complaint was the Caeser salad had a cheese crisp thing that was super tough to eat and the chicken was forgotten on my wife’s Caesar salad. Outside of that the food was excellent. I had the chicken Michelle which I had never heard of before but it tasted excellent. I highly recommend this place.

What a lovely jewel tucked back on the Cedar Point island. The food is excellent and well prepared. We went with another couple and all of us thought it was delicious with such a nice atmosphere. The risotto and scallops were my personal favorite. The only complaint I heard was that the blue cod could have had less chili sauce on it so that you could taste the actual fish a bit more. The price point is high but worth it. Not many fine dining restaurants in the local area so it really shines. The staff was kind, attentive and professional. Very well done!

The food was definitely not great. They had huge potential, but they struggled. The lobster tasted “muddy” according to my husband and my risotto had no seasoning and way too much cheese. The scallops on it were cooked really well though, so I have to give them that! Also, the waitress was really sweet, so that was a high point of the meal.

We come here every summer while visiting Cedar Point. Food is consistently good as well as service. The restaurant is at the docks so it has a really great view of the lake and boats. Very clean. Would eat the crab cakes and bread daily if I could! Usually one of us gets the grouper because its amazing!

Very nice and expensive restaurant.
The indoor atmosphere was great especially if you’re sitting by a window. The outdoor dining area would be quite noisy due to all of the roller-coasters and other park commotions.
The staff and service were excellent, with the food being well prepared.
For me this is a place to go to for a very special occasion. This is not the a place to bring small children.

For roller coaster lovers this is the spot. Located inside the park gates along the marina providing nice views and sounds of thrill seekers. Latisha was our waitress and she was nice. Escargot, grouper topped with crab meat and lake perch all delicious.

We were celebrating our fiftieth wedding anniversary and wanted to have a special dinner for the occasion. The Bay Harbor Restaurant, as it turned out it was the perfect choice. The hostess, who took our reservation, Mackenzie, was delightful and very anxious to make sure our dinner was memorable. The view was spectacular even though the weather was gloomy when we we were seated. The sun eventually did break through which brighten the atmosphere, and our spirits. We had a superb meal complete with champagne for a toast. Our waitress, Kim, was especially attentive to us. After the main course she brought us a surprise treat topped with whipped cream and a candle…..on the house. To our delight, the staff went out of their way to wish us a happy anniversary. We could not have been happier with our experience at this establishment. We highly recommend The Bay Harbor Restaurant for any occasion.

Food was alright, but double the price of anywhere else where you could get the same food. (We compared what we got to another weekend when we went to bonefish grill and the meal was half the price, even with ordering more drinks). The server rarely came to our table- I ended up having to go find her in order to get napkins, pepper and bread. We were seated outside next to a table with a family who brought their standard poodle with them, (not on a leash) which kept coming over to our table to sniff our food.
Yes, it’s cedar point prices, but you’d think if you’re paying a $300+ tab, you could get a server that checks on you every once in a while and doesn’t serve a cold lobster bisque.
Ambience is fun, especially with the roller coasters going by- I think that’s really what you’re paying for here.
