We came here on a rainy day when the other restaurant had an hour wait. There was no wait. Ordered two burgers and a fish sandwich. The burgers were solid burgers. It wasnt too greasy and it was portion for 9 bucks. The fish burger was a little dry. Wish it wasn’t as overcooked. We also had the fries and tots, but who really messed that up. When we arrived at did (what felt like) a school bus of kids and adults. We all felt for each other as we had over 30 kids in one restaurant. Says something about this place. Overall a great option for the young ones.

I’ve been coming to Bay Burger since 2007 and it NEVER disappoints! Even when they had the breakfast sandwiches (please bring it back!!), the food never disappointed! I’m a vegetarian so I always get the veggie burger, but this is actually one of the few places that are still around that opened before I became a Vegetarian. I remember their burger being incredibly juicy and I know that if I ever break vegetarianism, this would be the first place I’d go. Their fries and tots are nice, crispy, and always fresh, just like I like them!

Haven’t had a bad burger (beef, fish) yet from these guys. The lobster roll when it’s in season’s pretty good too. Local ice cream + free cones on Wednesdays with a meal = packed Wednesdays, come early or late. I think they have live music on Thursdays too.

Great to stop in for a cheap burger, but you definitely get what you pay for here. The burgers are delicious but smaller than other restaurants in the area. This place is great to bring kids too and the staff is upbeat and friendly. Personally, the live music can be a little much for me in the small space but lots of people love it.

Great burger, good prices. One of the last places in the Hamptons that you can get a quick burger for under 15 dollars. Great place for kids. Had outdoor seating too. Barry burger is also closing in 2 weeks. So go there soon because it won’t be around for long.

I was in Sag Harbor for the first time and went online to find a cheap, decent place to eat. “Bay Burger” got great reviews, so I went there. I got the Buffalo Chicken Burger, and it was excellent, and so was the Blue Cheese sauce they gave me on the side. The service was also fast and friendly, and the place is conveniently located and clean. My only quip was with the price: $7.75 for just my burger with no fries or drink. Sadly enough, that’s actually considered reasonable for this part of Long Island. I would definitely go back if in the area again.

Hands down the best burger in The Hamptons and the best tater tots in the world. (They’re SO crispy!) Also, the local handmade ice cream is the best…can’t remember the name of the brand…but the mint chip is where it’s at!

Great local place to grab a burger with your friends or kids! You can enjoy a beer while the kids play in the back room with their stixx wall or toys. I personally like Wednesdays because there’s free ice cream with your meal!

Good food, and the only restaurant in Sag Harbor that won’t break the bank. Perfect for families with kids (note that it will often be noisy with activity for this reason). Ordering at the walk-up counter makes it super informal. Must-try dishes include the kale Caesar salad, the onion rings (although this one item is inexplicably overpriced), coq au vin (they only had it once, but OMG!), the fries, tater tots, and loaded versions of both, the Buffalo chicken burger, the turkey burger, and the veggie burger. Go and enjoy!

Definite MUST do. Great hamburgers, falafal and LOBSTER rolls at a very reasonable price. Try the beyond burger… Cheap beer, and great food. Celebrities abound in this low key Hamptons staple.
