Family style Restaurant for all ages. Food was average. I had the Broiled stuffed Flounder and stuffing was ok even with green pepper diced into it. Salad was iceberg ( lots of heart pieces) w/ tomatoes, onion and shredded cheese.

When we got there, we were seated immediately in a nice cozy booth. Waitress came and took our drink and appetizer order. Drink and appetizers came quickly. The waitress answered all of our questions about the different combos. When our food came out it was piled high, I immediately took pictures to show off the hefty portions. My husband had ordered flounder and had a mouth full of bones, he requested to change that to catfish and it was brought out with no hesitation. We had so much food the to go box was full as well. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly, they have a repeat customer in me.

Food was alright, it has been better the last few times I came. The staff was awesome as always, I had a enthusiastic young man who was on top of his area without hovering. The scallops were a bit soggy and breading was slufing off, but again last 3 times I have been here it was good, put it off to a flook.

Words can’t explain what a great experience I had at this restaurant! Our waitress Johanna was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions. Now let’s talk about the food. Absolutely amazing! Everything was cooked to perfection. The portion size for the money was unbelievable. Everyone had enough food to take home for another meal. You definitely get your money’s worth here. Whenever I’m in Sanford North Carolina Bay Breeze Seafood is definitely a must visit! We definitely need one in Virginia.

We had supper there last night. When we got a table the waitress took our order quickly and the food came in a reasonable time. Most of the food was very good. The scallops were chewy and not very good. They have been the way the last several times we ate there. I sent them back one time but the replacements were the same. Other people in my party said the same thing. The baked potatoes were hot and very good. Our waitress did a great job keeping our glasses full. You can add a salad for $1.99 to your meal and is a very good salad.

The service is amazing! Kind, warm, friendly environment. The plate expecially kids plates had a surprisingly big portion! BLOOMING ONION AND KIDS PORTIONS FOR THE WIN! The price was great! However it was unfortunate that the cleaning effort made on the food turned alot of it off for me. My boiled crabs clusters still had the insides (of crab/green stuff) on the one on the bottom of the plate so I felt like it was definitely see but ignored. Some of my other choices in seafood tasted like they were not washed very well prior to cooking very well. Tasted a bit Little mushy Yes I still ate it but I also grew up near the water where seafood is something we eat alot of so I ate around it to try the quality. Decent quality but when it’s not washed right it replenishes the quality. Just moving forward please wash a Little better. But they have alot of business which does speak itself and the vibes are was very happy and friendly. Clean food and presentation on all the food is key however the quality in seafood wasn’t aweful but overall could have been a Little cleaner tasting all together this would enhance the quality.

Third time in four years , it seems like every time gets better.
Hostess was friendly, waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.
Food showed up fresh and hot we both had the jumbo shrimp.
Just don’t understand why they don’t sell by the pound, would’ve bought 2 lbs to take home.

Let me start off by saying, that my wife had left a comment on here as far as she felt about this place. But let me start off by saying, that the service was ok. And the waiter was very Attentive to our table, but the food that my wife and I and mother in law got the same thing. And I’m a big fan of seafood, but this seafood here wasn’t prepared correctly and it had me running to the bathroom after I left this place. And I didn’t eat all of my food, the food wasn’t cook and it wasn’t seasoned. I will be not returning to this place again.

I bought my mom here for Mother’s Day. It was a nice crowd there and they were quite busy. However we didn’t have to wait a long time for a seat. The waitress was attentive to us and checked on us from time to time. My problem is with whomever is cooking the food. I ordered the jumbo shrimp cocktail. Problem #1 the shrimp was not deveined and my mom said she saw some grit down close to the tail of the shrimp. She only ate one shrimp and her stomach started hurting. She didn’t eat anymore of the shrimp cocktail. I think my husband got food poisoning because he has been running to the bathroom ever since we got home. His stomach is rumbling. Thank God I didn’t get sick. When we got home my mom and I tossed our leftovers in the trash. I did like the hush puppies. I’m from Maryland and I like seasoning (old bay) on my seafood not the tasteless red seasoning they put on your seafood. Other than that, I think they just need to make sure the food is fresh because you can’t play around with fish because anyone can get sick.

We were looking for a place with fresh fried and broiled seafood for my birthday. This restaurant had fresh fish, salads, and plates piled high with food. We ended up taking some home for another meal. Pictured is the shrimp lovers which even included boiled peeled shrimp. The other is my small platter with my fried shrimp and flounder. It was definitely worth the 35 minute drive from Cary. We’ll be back again it was so good. The service was excellent too!
