This place is inside the commons. I ordered the pastrami sandwich. The bun was yummy and warm. It had a nice but soft crust. The meat was delicious and plentiful and the sauce was perfect. The whole thing was delicious and filling!

Bay Boy is my favorite sandwich shop in KC. The original location is slightly better than the new location, in the Commons in NKC, yet the convenience of a location closer to me is well worth it.
The new location is 9.5/10, Once everything is broken in, I expect this location to meet the high bar of the original restaurant.
The flaming CBR and Bandit are the only sandwiches I have tried, almost too good to try something new. Definitely expensive for a sandwich, the second you take a bite that is all you’ll be focused on!

Delicious sandwiches! Saturday afternoon was busy, and the wait was longer than expected. But so worth it! And the Commons is a nice place to hang out (a bit on the loud side). Will be coming back for sure!

We came here from out of town. The sandwiches are very very good. The employees were super nice. I think this is a new location so it was hard to find as they didn’t have signage up yet. So just go inside where google tells you to. It seems like they aren’t in there, but they are. I wish we lived in KC so we could go here again. Highly recommend.

First, the location is inside a place called the Commons. Lots of games and a bar, really neat set up to hang out. Chef Barry at the Bay Boy window was a delight to chat with and we tried the Honey, I’m Home seasonal special. Holy moly it was delicious!! Needs to be added to the main menu. Love Bay Boy!
