This is a great place to try authentic Hyderabadi and fry piece biryani. I have been ordering their mutton fry piece biryani and it has been my favorite biryani in Delaware so far. There are other places with nice biryanis but when it comes to authentic flavor and spices, there are very few. What i will say is the mutton fry piece biryani is the top notch dish and a close runner up is chicken fry piece biryani. I have tried other dishes like mutton sukha, butter chicken etc and they are not bad. Thats all i can say for other dishes. Additionally, I have noticed that the consistency is little off about 20% of the times, specifically with the biryani having different undertones, nothing bad but just a miss in consistency, so be prepared for that. This is a great hole in the wall type of authentic flavored biryani spot that has somewhat competitive prices and good consistency in quality. My review and recommendation is mainly about biryani.

I wish I could give 0 star, I took a takeaway for chicken pulav and saw a large spider or insect whatever it is. This is was on their offers which they make in huge batches. They did refund the amount to me but I just hope people ate from that batch are safe and sound. This is so irresponsible.

The interior is clean but as basic as you can get. You order at the counter and they will bring it to you. Mostly I get take-out.
The lunch specials are delicious and a really good deal. Especially if you pay in cash. But the dinners are just as good.
Be warned, they will ask you for your spice level, but even the “mild” is fairly spicy for a bland palate. If you can tolerate jalapeños or any hot sauce, you’ll be fine.
Also, note that they close at 2:30 for an afternoon break, so really stop taking lunch orders about 2:15.

The quality has gone downhill here, and the price has only risen. Paid $26 for one of the most disappointing Indian takeout meals I’ve had.The garlic naan was stale, the rice came in a comically tiny container, and the chicken tikka masala was mostly watery sauce with barely any actual chicken. What little meat there was was lost in the soup. Completely overpriced for the quality and portion size. Won’t be ordering again.

UPDATE: Tried couple of other items, chicken 65 and chicken chettinad, they were decently ok.
I changed the 4 star to 3 star because I have ordered the pepper lamb from here, may be 3 or 4 times by now because I loved it the first time however I never got the same taste or flavor after that. Now it just feels like a somewhat OKish goat curry labeled as pepper lamb, After trying multiple times and consistently being disappointed, now I stopped ordering pepper lamb from here forever .

This is my first time here. I ordered food delivery for chicken dum biriyani and pepper lamb, OMG it was so spicy and delicious .
I am completely satisfied with the lamb curry and biriyani was also good, not too good but satisfactory. I am saying this because I have had authentic biriyanis from other restaurants which was slightly more tastier also some more flavorful chicken with thick coated gravy on chicken… But, good quantity for the price. I think anybody who loves spicy flavorful food will definitely love this one right here ❤️.
I enjoyed really well. Try out soon guys!

Will update, after trying couple of other dishes as well!! Till then bye

We ordered takeout from this place & the food was spicy even though we asked for mild. Our toddler couldn’t eat it. Also, the naan & Parathas weren’t that great either.

I have been to this location a number of times over the years. Bit I haven’t eaten here in about 18 months because of the service. Based on my experience this time 10/1/25. I would not recommend. I arrived 12:45. 2-3 customers already eating and 2 people waiting for there to go orders. A small group of 4 people in front of me. So maybe busy for this place. But not what I would call crazy busy. I placed my order Butter chicken and paid. Had a seat next to a guy and he said to me I hope you’re not in a rush that he’s been waiting 35 minutes about 10 minutes later his food was ready. I waited 45 minutes and asked for my money back. I was told no that my food was ready. Another 5 minutes and he brings my food. The butter chicken was way too salty not edible. I took 2-3 bites and asked again for a refund and was told they couldn’t give me a refund That they would remake my food. But after spending over an hour waiting for my food, I decided it wasn’t worth the time and threw my food in the trash instead. Needless to say, I won’t be returning to this location anytime soon

The restaurant’s biryanis are excellent. The cashier, a lady, suggests good items, and for first-timers, she assures that if the suggested food isn’t good, it’s on her, and she’ll replace it for free. This confidence reflects their trust in their offerings.

We tried Jackfruit and Panner Biryanis, they are good.

Great mutton biriyani! Very moist and flavorful. When you enter the restaurant, you need to go to a counter and order your food. It is not a full scale, serve you at your table restaurant. But the staff were friendly and we really liked the food. Chicken biriyani ( In my humble opinion Biriyani Pot ,Newark Ave, Jersey City, NJ had the best chicken biriyani ) was not the best BUT Mutton Biriyani was clearly a WINNER!!.

UPDATE: I see bunch of one liner, fake reviews about this place! This is still one our fave places!! Gobi Manjurian is so good( the sauce is delicious ) so as the Mutton Biriyani!!

Best Indian food in the region. Don’t let the humble interior fool you. The food is top notch at a more than fair price.
