We always have a great experience at Bawarchi! The butter chicken is one of our favorite dishes here and the chicken tikka masala. We typically have leftovers after leaving which we appreciate! The service is always wonderful and the staff is incredibly kind/helpful with their suggestions!

This is THE best Indian food restaurant in Des Moines hands down. The service is amazing with very knowledgeable and friendly staff to help you decide from the various options and spice levels. The restaurant is very clean with the perfect about of lighting and music for a comfortable dining experience. It says a lot about a place when the glasses are clean and spotless and real silverware is used! Thank you Bawarchi for the yet again amazing experience!

We had a lovely meal here tonight and will come back regularly now having re-discovered it. Food was excellent. The menu is huge and a bit confusing but they will be happy to help you. Robbi, who I assume was the owner, was by our table several times and was always charming and interested in our enjoyment. They have a small patio that was just warm enough tonight. Also, the bill for two with wine and a good tip was only around $50.

Great place to stop for Indian!! We stopped on the way thru heading home from a volleyball showcase. Everything from the service to the final bite was FANTASTIC!! Chai. Mango Lasse. All 3 dishes were incredible. Would highly recommend this place for anyone in the area craving great Indian food. 10 out of 10.
