I love Bawarchis. I discovered it when a friend had them cater their wedding and the food was 10/10. I decided to keep coming back and had my family and best friend come as well. They legit have the best butter chicken I have ever had it is extremely mouthwatering. The staff are super kind. Today I was there and I accidentally cut my finger on some glass when I returned to my car. The staff member there was extremely kind she washed my wound and cleaned up the mess I made. I eventually had to get stitches given how bad the wound was but I am still grateful for the support. I have never experienced such extreme kindness from a staff ever. Super genuine and amazing place and I will definitely keep coming back inshallah!
Only feedback I have is as someone who prefers not to listen to music I find that the music can be a little loud but recently they have lowered it which has made the experience even better.

Beware of these people, they sell quarter trays saying half tray. Had ordered half tray hakka veg noodles, they charged $75 and gave a quarter tray. Same with the bucket biriyani, they gave a tiny bucket whereas other biriyani houses are generous and provide bigger sizes with the generous amount of raita and sides worth to money. Also for egg curry – received 3 half pieces of eggs. I would never buy fro these people.

Extremely Disappointed Experience:
My recent experience with this restaurant was very disappointing. I ordered Puri and Shahi Paneer (half tray), but the food quality was unacceptable.
The Shahi Paneer had hardly any paneer pieces — it felt like a few cubes were swimming in a bowl of curry.
The Puris were extremely hard and crisp, breaking like papad, which made them almost impossible to eat.
When I called to report the issue, I only received a casual “sorry,” with no real attempt to fix the problem.
I’ve ordered here before and expected much better. This experience shows a serious drop in both food quality and customer service. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves.

This establishment is not exactly a fine restaurant like Haveli Bistro, but their food is good. Starting from biriyani to dosa and sweets, the food is mouthwatering. I usually get the food packed for home but sometimes dine out there too.

Tried the Goat Fry Biryani at Bawarchi and it was absolutely delicious! The meat was tender, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I’ll definitely be coming back for more ,highly recommend if you’re a biryani lover!

I stopped in for lunch and ordered the 555 Chicken and Fried Rice — and wow, both dishes blew me away. The 555 Chicken was bursting with flavor — crispy on the outside, perfectly spiced, and packed with just the right amount of heat. Easily one of the best Indo-Chinese appetizers I’ve ever had.
The fried rice was equally impressive — savory, aromatic. It paired perfectly with the chicken and made for a satisfying, hearty meal.
The staff was friendly, the service was fast, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. You can tell they take pride in their food and care about delivering a quality experience.

I ordered biriyani around 6pm around 8pm I started to eat, but the food’s spoiled smell is coming. I am really unhappy with this restaurant. This is the 2nd time it’s happening. I will never ever order from this restaurant. Thank you.

This restaurant is a poor representative of the magnificent Indian cuisine available in Columbus, Ohio.
The quality of the food simply does not justify the exorbitant prices. For a single Biryani dish and one naan, I paid an amount that could easily feed a family of three at other local Indian establishments serving superior and more delicious food.
Beyond the cost, the restaurant suffers from serious issues:
Service: Extremely poor and non-friendly.
Cleanliness: I was served a non-clean glass, and the metal tap water pitcher had an off-putting, worn smell.
Atmosphere: Non-friendly and unwelcoming.
The most shocking part was the host’s attitude. When inquiring about the lunch options, I was told dismissively, “This place has its rules… if you want to get lunch food, come earlier in the morning.” To suggest that patrons must leave work early to adhere to their rules shows a complete disregard for customer convenience.
Verdict: A bad experience. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this establishment.
