I had a wonderful experience at Bawarchi Biryanis in St. Louis! The food was absolutely delicious — full of authentic Indian flavors and perfectly spiced. The biryani was fragrant and flavorful, with tender meat and just the right amount of heat. The portions were generous, and everything tasted freshly made.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I ordered takeout last weekend: goat biryani and samosa chaat. Biryani was basically fried rice with a few pieces of goat, barely warm, and didn’t resemble biryani at all. Samosa chaat was okay, but perhaps only seemed decent compared to biryani. It’s frustrating and honestly disheartening to see such poor-quality food. Very dissatisfied.

Ordered take out on 1/11/26. Chili chicken was ok. No taste of gongura in gongura vegetable biryani, it just tasted like a regular vegetable biryani. Bhindi masala taste was ok but bhindi was undercooked. Samosa chat was very sour and salty- looks like they put lime juice and salt twice. Same with chole in chole bathura, chole was very sour and salty- obviously they put salt and lime juice twice.

One of the worst restaurant! Food is not good here! Completely frozen and reheated food! Ordered mutton curry and pieces are like completely hard and these guys are serving uncooked meat! Please take care who ever is visiting here. Curry is full oily and chapati is like papad! Not recommended!!

Honestly, not a good experience. The biryani didn’t taste fresh and had a slight smell . Very few chicken pieces, and it felt more like plain chicken pulao than real biryani. Just rice with a little chicken mixed in.

I recently visited Bawarchi and had a very mixed experience. The appetizers were really good, and the naan was also delicious. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. As the entrées arrived, I noticed a cockroach on the wall, which was extremely off putting. The chicken tikka masala was disappointing, it didn’t taste like chicken tikka masala, had very little chicken, and was mostly sauce, which felt cheap for the price. Overall, the cleanliness and quality of the main dishes really brought down what could have been an enjoyable meal. Sorry, no photos of the food.. I didn’t know I’d leave a review.

Extremely disappointed with our DoorDash order this past Wednesday. The biryani was nearly stale, and the Chicken 65 was over-fried, dry, and loaded with artificial coloring. The fried rice was a letdown as it had no vegetables and resembled pulao more than actual fried rice. To top it off, the Baby Corn Manchurian was unpleasantly tangy. We barely touched any of the dishes—a complete waste of money.

The ambience, service, and food at this restaurant were outstanding. Our group of eight ordered a variety of appetizers and main course dishes. The meat, noodles, and other items were served hot and fresh. If you’re looking for authentic food, I highly recommend place!

Tiny 3 pieces of goat , with half boiled egg.too much spicy. The worst biryani I ever had. Never try this restaurant. Also very sour. They put achar into the biryani. Very poor experience
