We took takeout from here for dinner while in Orlando. It’s more of a take out place. We ordered chicken biryani as they didn’t have vegetable biryani. Also, ordered chilli chicken and cut mirchi bhaji. The chilli chicken was good and juicy. The chicken was normal taste with big pieces of chicken. The cut mirchi was overcooked and had burnt taste.

Bawarchi Biryanis in Sanford may be a small spot, but the food is excellent. Everything was flavorful and well-prepared, and the pickup process was quick and easy. There’s no dine-in available at the moment, but it’s a great option for takeout. The Schezuan fried rice was awesome as well—packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Definitely worth checking out!

We recently ordered two of Bawarchi’s Family Pack Biryanis, and they were an absolute hit! Bawarchi truly stands out when it comes to delivering authentic, intensely flavored Indian cuisine that works perfectly for group gatherings.
The clear star of our order was the Lamb Tikka Biryani. This dish was beyond expectations—it was incredibly flavorful, with tender pieces of lamb tikka marinated and cooked to perfection, creating a deeply aromatic and satisfying meal. My guest absolutely loved it, which is always the best sign of a winning dish.
Our second selection, the Chicken Hyderabadi Dum Biryani, was also excellent. It featured a great balance of spices and we were particularly impressed with the good amount of succulent chicken layered throughout the fragrant rice. It tasted very good and definitely delivered on its promise of classic Hyderabadi flavors.
The family packs provided amazing value and generous portions, easily feeding a hungry crowd. Furthermore, the service was quick and efficient, ensuring our large order was packaged correctly and ready for us right on time.

They are only take out at the moment, but will have seating. The girl taking orders was awesome – helped my with the heat levels and was spot on. The food was amazing! Best lamb Biryani ever as well as a flavorful chicken fried rice. Probably the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be going back. Nice portion sizes!

Idk what the other reviews are on about because the biryani from here is 10/10 amazing. It’s the best biryani I’ve genuinely had from a restaurant especially in this area. This place deserves a lot more recognition. Today was my second time ordering I got the Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani, I’ve tried the goat version as well both of them tasted amazing and were made extremely fresh. The biryani has always been really fresh, the quality has been consistent both times and it tastes great! I got the medium spice level and it’s not spicy at all, anybody can comfortably eat it. Their customer service is also really kind, the ladies at the counter are the sweetest I highly recommend trying this place.

Ordered food for a large party. First, the order was not ready on time. We had to wait 45 minutes after the time that was promised which made the party start late thanks to their irresponsibilty. Second, we ordered Chicken Biryani and the tray was full of rice with only 3 chicken pieces. And this was a large tray order. When we called them, they said we will try to make it better next time. No apologizes, no willingness to compensate….just completely unprofessional. Will never order from them next time and will spread the word. There are other restaurants in the area so please give them a try first. I do NOT recommend this place for any orders.

The spice level was well-balanced (you can ask for your desired heat), and each dish had that “homemade” quality you hope for when going to an authentic Indian restaurant. The rice was perfectly cooked, aromatic, and rich with just the right balance of spices – not oily or overpowering, just that deep, comforting flavor you only get when someone cooks with love. The goat was tender and fell right off the bone.
It’s hard to find authentic biriyani around Sanford or even Orlando that gets the texture and spice balance this right. The portion size was generous, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming.
