Reviews
We usually like Bawarchi outlets, so we expected at least 50% of that quality here. Unfortunately, this place delivered -50% of the worst.
We dined in on Jan 1st around 8 PM, and the experience went downhill immediately.
• The lady who took our order was wearing an apron that was extremely dirty. It was unhygienic and shocking to see someone serving food like that.
• Almost every item was missing its side: Dosa came without sambar, Biryani came without raita. We had to repeatedly ask for missing items.
• The dosa was half-cooked and the batter was sour. Dosa is one of the simplest dishes to get right, yet they failed badly.
• Chicken Manchurian was drowned in oil and sauce. It should be renamed Sauce Manchurian.
• Vijayawada Chicken Biryani was terrible—no spice at all and a strong bad oil smell. It tasted oddly sweet. This is hands down the worst biryani I’ve ever had. The leftovers spoiled by 6 AM the next morning, untouched, and had to be thrown away.
• Chole Poori was a complete disaster. It was oily, tasteless, and looked like porridge with holes in it. No decent restaurant would serve something like this.
Overall, this restaurant shows zero concern for food quality, hygiene, or customers.
Honestly, it’s better to throw your money directly in the trash than spend it here—it’ll save you the effort of being completely disgusted.
Please don’t go here. It’s better to stay hungry.
All togeather its a blast for your palette. Thank u entire team for being so friendly, caring and keep up the good service.
I ordered through uber and this is what i ordered ,tandoori chicken, chicken dum biryani, and mango lassi, and none of the items met even basic expectations.
The chicken dum biryani was extremely disappointing. The rice was not basmati—it seemed like some other long-grain rice that was very chewy and completely bland. There was absolutely no flavor in the rice, and the chicken tasted like it was simply boiled with no spices at all. It felt like eating plain white meat with rice.
The tandoori chicken was equally bad. Tandoori chicken is supposed to be flavorful, well-marinated, and vibrant in color. This one had no proper masala, no seasoning, and no taste—just a red color with nothing else going for it.
The mango lassi was the final disappointment. The yogurt used tasted off and had a strange, unpleasant flavor, making it impossible to enjoy.
Overall, this meal was a complete letdown. No flavor, poor quality, and not worth the money at all. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
Unfortunately, the Chicken Karahi was a major letdown. It came loaded with big chunks of onions and green peppers—nowhere close to the authentic version, which doesn’t even include onions or such a heavy gravy. It clearly tasted like one of those pre-cooked gravies mixed with pre-boiled chicken, a common shortcut that really hurts the flavor and texture.
On the plus side, the Butter Naan was excellent—soft, fresh, and very well made. That’s the only reason I’m giving this place 3 stars.
What made the experience worse was the wait time. I placed the order, left to run an errand at another location, came back—and still had to wait. This was just one dish for takeaway, and the restaurant was practically empty with only one family dining in. No reason it should’ve taken that long.
They have decent seating space, but the food quality and service speed need serious improvement.
Just to add a response to the owners pathetic reply.
If you REALLY know how to cook chicken Karahi it doesnot even have Onions or green Pepper in it !
My friend call it a day by saying you have NO CLUE how karahi is actually made.
Great Place! We are extremely satisfied with our experience!!!
