When I called to place the order, I specifically asked for a chicken option and was advised to try the Chicken Dum Biryani. I ordered the biryani bucket, anticipating a satisfying and authentic meal.
While I must commend the kitchen on the quality of the chicken—it was well-cooked, tender, and flavorful—the rice was unfortunately undercooked and quite hard. As biryani is as much about the texture and aroma of the rice as it is about the protein, this imbalance significantly detracted from the overall experience. Regrettably, it spoiled what should have been a comforting and memorable introduction to your cuisine.
I share this feedback not merely as a customer, but as someone who values culinary consistency and authenticity. I hope this is taken constructively and helps maintain the standard that has earned Bawarchi its strong reputation.
I would be open to giving it another try and hope this was an isolated issue.
Yes it was this location. I ordered Dum Mutton Biryani, 2 orders of chicken 65, and veggie noodles on 10/ 18 at 6-7pm.
The biryani and curries lacked the depth and spice balance we’re used to. Overall, it didn’t live up to expectations. Hoping they improve the authenticity and consistency in the future.
Veg biriyani was Okie with lot of vegetables and less rice. Rice quality was okie.
If u don’t need an ambience but good food u can come here.
Service was really great and a special mention.
Fried rice was good but had extra soya sauce and oil and quantity is less, goat biriyani was good, chicken lollipop was good.
Food was delectable. Service was adequate. Prices were appropriate. I cannot complain too much, outside of the time. We called in an order & was told it would take 20 minutes. Got there 20 minutes later & had to wait an additional 20 minutes for the food (for 2 people). It was close to closing & they allowed us to dine in for another 20 minutes so that’s a positive about their grace & service.
