Great food & great service. Small cozy restaurant. They have beer & wine. I’m definitely coming back & looking forward to trying their Specials.

I’ve visited twice already and plan to make it a weekly tradition! The food is simply outstanding. The bratwurst and schnitzel are both incredible and truly authentic. I’m amazed that Skiatook has such a superb German restaurant. It’s not much to look at from the road- but once you walk inside it is inviting, and the service is exceptional, making it well worth the drive. I can’t recommend it enough!

Beer is delicious. Home type feeling. Great seasoning every meat.

The Pony Coffee Shop was so rich of espresso flavor. I am cyclist and the first thing I like to do is get my cup of espresso before my ride. I was very pleased and you can’t compare this to Starbucks. I did research around all coffee shops and so glad I came in at 6:30 A.M. You see atmosphere outside their door. This is the Main Street in downtown where all runners and cyclists pass through to go to the Riverside Trails. It’s been years since I tasted Coffee that good.
After, I headed to Osage Trail. The trail is in the woods and passes through a few neighborhoods, streets and bridges. Yes I did see homeless and trash on the side of the trail but the more you head up north that stops because of the ranchers and cattle farms. And yes I suggest a body with you and get there at sunrise or afternoon only because of the neighborhood you pass through . Plenty of shade because of the trees and you see all types of birds and deers. Which I saw jumping in front of me. Squirrels, possums etc…..

For lunch this hidden gem was a such a great experience with the meal I had. Don’t forget your mug of beer on the side. Best I ever had.

Had a wonderful experience eating here. The food is fresh, well presented, authentic, and full of flavor. The owners are amazing people who are very passionate and knowledgeable about their craft. They are warm and welcoming and you end up feeling like you are at home. I came during the lunch period and started with the soup of the day, a delicious creamy mushroom onion soup. I then had the Currywurst and fries without a doubt I thought I was back on the streets of Berlin. The fries were well seasoned and crispy while still being soft on the inside and having a good potato flavor. The currywurst was amazing, the bratwurst had a great flavor, and the sauce was addicting leaving you wanting more. I finished with a frikadeller, the fresh made bun was terrific, the juicy patty, krout, and mustard brought everything together. I was very impressed with the cooking and left satisfied. 10/10 will come back again.

This! We’ve been looking for this. Wife is German and has been looking for a real German restaurant. We finally found it!!

From the start we knew we found the place.

Greeted by I guess the owner to sit anywhere.

Seated and the German waitress was amazing.

The beer menu is confusing. They show a large but you can’t get one? Idk just went with a medium. Said the beer isn’t available but brought it out. Suggest showing what the sizes are on menu in oz. (Sorry not metric)

The food, perfect and fast. The cook is a machine. We watched and he worked quickly to get the food out.

Got the jagerschnitzel breaded perfectly.
Mashed potatoes perfect.

Don’t skip this place.

As a retired Army veteran who was stationed in Germany for nine years — and with a German wife — we both truly loved this restaurant. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and very attentive throughout our visit. The food was fantastic and genuinely authentic German cuisine. Everything tasted freshly made and was served promptly.

If you’re looking to experience a little piece of Germany right here in Skiatook, we highly recommend giving this place a try!

Don’t let the outside fool you. They are working to beautify the exterior however it doesn’t change the excellence of the food inside. We enjoyed a beautiful and tasty meal with a few German beers on tap. Highly suggest checking out their FB page for specials and hours as they may vary.

Käsespätzle (see photo) was delicious…. The food is fresh and handmade. No frozen food that gets warmed up at this place. Authentic German food dishes as well as a few traditional American items.
