First time going here this past weekend with family. My husband ordered the Victory burger and this photo does not do justice. This thing was massive! And delicious ! Service was , meh. The waitress was very sweet, but probably new and just felt awkward at times. Refills took quite a while to get. And not sure why but when she brought is refill for tea, she only brought tea from another glass without any ice in it. Kept forgetting to give us straws. Food was delicious, but my chicken breast (which I did not take a photo of) wasn’t as big as the menu knocked it up to be. I came in wanting a Ceasar salad, but there wasn’t one on the menu. Waah …I would still definitely come back. Sweet potato fries were probably my fave. One son had the kids wings (4) and fries, and the other had a burger and fries. Both were very satisfied.

Visited the new location, and the service was great, even with a new waitress working our table. The only hiccup we had wasn’t a fault of her at all, more like miscommunication on labeling on a menus item. We ordered FIRE ROASTED wings, that really aren’t fire roasted at all lol. They are fried like normal, then topped with stuff and thrown under the salamander smh. The person that ordered didn’t eat fried food, so we sent them back without a hitch. The rest of the food was solid, and as described.

We sat at the bar area. Kayla was great! She was so sweet and attentive.
We had the Gooey Chargrilled Chicken and Chips; they were a little on the salty side and some of the pieces of chicken could’ve been cooked a little longer. The Fire Roasted Wings were a bit on the salty side as well but still decent enough to eat. The Gooey Chargrilled Chicken Sandwich was pretty standard for a grilled chicken sandwich. The curly fries were good too but just too seasoned for my liking. We’ll be back to try some other menu items and tell them easy on the salt.

My husband and I have been coming to Baumhower’s since they first opened in Troy, and it’s been one of our go-to spots ever since. We learned pretty quickly that grabbing a seat at the bar is the fastest way to get great food without the wait and that’s where we met Kayla.
From our very first visit, she became our favorite bartender. She knows exactly what we’re drinking before we even say it, she’s always friendly, and she genuinely makes you feel welcome. Over the years, we’ve seen a lot of bartenders come and go, but Kayla has always been the constant.
Tonight, we found out she’s leaving, and we’re honestly so disappointed. Kayla is not just our bartender; we consider her a friend. I can’t count how many times we’ve been there when she’s been called in to cover another shift after just leaving the restaurant. That kind of dedication says a lot. She’s been such a big part of why we keep coming back.
Baumhower’s, y’all better figure out how to keep Kayla…she is the best of the best!

The food was good and not very spicy. Even though they were not busy, several tables were full of dirty dishes the whole time we were there. My plate was chipped. The service and the food was very good. There’s lots of televisions!

My family and I had a fantastic time at Baumhower’s in Troy! From the moment we walked in, the exceptional service made us feel welcome. Our food arrived quickly, and every dish was bursting with flavor. I couldn’t resist ordering their gigantic burger, which initially seemed like a challenge, but it was so delicious that I devoured it with ease. The restaurant’s layout is thoughtfully designed with large tables and spacious seating, ensuring everyone has plenty of room to enjoy their meal comfortably. I’ve tried to give this place a chance twice now, traveling to Troy for business. 1st trip we sat at the bar to be waited on. Bartender was rude from the get go, drinks weren’t made right and after we tried to get them remade, we got met with even uglier behavior. It got to the point we asked the bar back to wait on us instead and make our drinks. Spoke to the manager this trip about it as well when we were asked why we wanted the bar back for service.
2nd trip we sat at a table near the bar instead. Our waitress was great, food was decent (both trips) but again drinks had to be sent back twice (same bartender from first visit FYI). After we sent them back the second time we just switched to water and finished our food as quick as we could to move on for the night somewhere else. Manager came to speak with us and told her we just wanted to send it back and we already tried to address it twice now. During this time we observed another waitress bring a drink back from another table for the same reason and watched the bartender throw a fit in front of customers at the bar and made the waitress take the original drink back to the table ♂️
I can say until they fix their rude, condescending and abusive bartender we won’t be back next time we’re in town.

We are traveling and gave Baumhowers a try! It was very good! But what made it better was the Bartender Kayla! We ate at the Bar and she was amazing! Definitely get the wings!!

My coworkers and I went to lunch here on 1/9/26. While we were seated, one of my coworkers noticed a bug crawling behind my head. We immediately informed our waitress, who was very polite, and asked to speak with the manager. When the manager came to the table, we explained that we had just killed a flying roach.
The manager acknowledged the situation but only said, “Thanks for letting me know,” and did not take any immediate action. We were then served our food, and about 15 minutes later the manager had the waitress ask if we wanted to move to another table. At that point, the damage was already done. If there was a bug at our table, it raised concerns about the cleanliness of the entire dining area.
Overall, the situation was handled poorly and made for an uncomfortable dining experience.
