Stopped here for dinner the other evening & was not disappointed, we were seated at a table almost immediately, our waitress was friendly & attentive. It was a bit noisy with a youth baseball travel team on the balcony. The dining area had a few large parties also. We had the fish fry & it didn’t disappoint! The hush puppies were excellent & the chef mentioned he’d make us a side order… just ask next time we’re in! Good selection of beers.

A 5 at times and a 2-3 on off days. I really like and want to like this spot. The food and specials are super creative, the beer is solid. The execution is very hit or miss. I’ve had a few great meals and I’ve also had a chicken sandwich with raw breading, soggy cold fries, and crazy salty food at times. Keep up the excellent creativity and please work on the consistency.

I stopped by with a friend for lunch recently after she raved about her experience here. So glad she suggested it! I have passed by on my way to and from Vermont dozens of times, always thinking, “I should stop here sometime.”
The environment and staff were welcoming. There is a very relaxing and laid-back atmosphere that encourages you to stay awhile. It reminds me of the old days with neighborhood restaurants where you could spend a few hours enjoying good food and catching up with other regulars.
The food we ordered was absolutely delicious! It was great to see meaty and well-sauced chicken wings. And the burger (Cannon Fodder) I have never had anything quite like it before. You wouldn’t think reading the description that it would work, but boy does it! I want to try other items on the menu next time, but it will be tough not ordering the same burger again. The French fries were the real deal, homemade and yummy. I also ordered dessert. Very good, just needed a bit more time to defrost, as the slice of pie was still pretty solid.
Overall, highly recommend making it a point to stop when you are in the area or looking for an excuse to take a road trip.

Battle Hill Brewing Company offers an amazing craft beer experience in a relaxed ✿, friendly setting. The beers are top-notch, especially the pale ale and porter, also the cocoa beer no.5 one which were perfectly balanced and flavorful. The food was also excellent—I highly recommend the burger and the pretzel with beer cheese! the staff was very kind and attentive once they got to us. The laid-back vibe and delicious brews make this a great spot to unwind and enjoy local craft beer. Looking forward to my next visit haha

A quaint quiet corner in the heart of Fort Ann. The atmosphere is relaxing and inviting. The waitstaff is quick and very friendly. Very hard workers. The drink selection was quite large. The menu was the perfect size as were the portions they give. They have seasonal meals and specials. It was delicious.

First time trying it as we were in the area and it was delicious! I got the Fort Ann Pub Club and it was soooo good! The sandwich was amazing and the fries were fresh and homemade and addicting! Great selection of draft, craft and ciders too! We will definitely be returning back in the future. PS I would’ve had more pictures but the sandwich was too good and I didn’t want to put it down.

Enjoyed a nice early lunch while passing through today. Good very good, server excellent, nice atmosphere, pub style. Sat on desk with sunshine and was very nice but a horrible view of something reminiscent of a junk yard next door. Thoroughly enjoyed the food, brews and service. And love the couch!

As a general rule of thumb, I never visit the same establishment more then once no matter how good the food is. I want to try different places everytime I visit up here. That being said…i was here over the summer and was blown away by how great the food was!!! So great, that during my trip this week… i visited again!! The 1st time I had the chicken sandwich. I didn’t think it could get better, however….the burger…omg. everything is so fresh and homemade, and delightful!!! I even got dessert, which was worth it! I will be back before I go home sunday!!! Amazing!!! And an amazing couch!

Battle Hill has some of the best food in the area. We were here for the first time yesterday, and we really enjoyed everything. The fried pickles are delicious, a fried pickle that has been taken to the next level. Every part of the burger was also delicious, and the fries were excellent too. The adult mac & cheese was also really great and a large portion. If you haven’t been here, definitely stop by for some house brewed beer and a delicious meal. Local small businesses need our support now more than ever.
