We went here before a concert at the arena. Food was better than arena food but the burger I had seemed to be missing something. The flavor was lacking a little. Deviled eggs were good and the tuna appetizer was good (portion was big).

If we would have read the reviews ahead of time, we likely would not have taken a chance on this place. However, we had never been to Sparkman Wharf before and walked by at brunch and decided to stop in to eat. We had a really great meal. The service was fine, but not amazing – friendly enough but no personality at all and sometimes took a while to come around. The drinks were good. The food was mostly very good. Prices were fair for portion size and location, except for the chicken caesar salad. It was embarrasingly small for the price and didn’t compare at all to the other items ordered in terms of price per size/ingredient/etc. It was the size of a side salad with a little bit of chicken and was way more expensive than meals requiring lots of ingredients and cooking techniques. Very odd. Potatoes for hashbrowns weren’t fully cooked and had no flavor. That was the only food item we didn’t like.
Some items didn’t match the menu descriptions – some we were warned about but others we weren’t. The eggs benedict was supposed to be ham and an English muffin, but it was bacon and a biscuit. The change was delicious and better than what the original would have been. So even though we loved our meal and would return, there are definitely some issues they need to work out to be sure other customers aren’t upset by what they are served.

I wanted to take a moment to thank the team at The Battery in Tampa for their help in planning our corporate dinner during a recent conference. From start to finish, we had a fantastic experience. The entire team was incredibly responsive and made sure everything went smoothly, which made all the difference.
Planning an event like this—especially last minute and in a city you’ve never visited—can be stressful, but the team at The Battery made it all feel effortless. The room looked elegant and very impressive. The food and drinks were amazing too! People were still talking about how much they enjoyed the dinner days after the conference.
I’d like to personally thank Steven, Ana, Brianna, Adeline, Aaron, and Matt for their exceptional customer service. We truly had a great time and will definitely plan to dine here again the next time we’re in Tampa!

Just got here yesterday to celebrate my birthday. It’s our first time in this restaurant. I recommend to try their truffle fries, their smashed burger is great my husband loves it. We’re not a fan of sweet potato fried with sugar some people might be so we didn’t eat it that much. The waitress accommodated us nicely. They gave us 2 chocolate brownies with strawberry and whipcream for my birthday treats and it tastes so good! Thankyou so much! I appreciate it

I recently visited The Battery in Tampa and was surprised by the experience. When I arrived, there were plenty of open tables, but I was told they were not seating anyone else because the staff “could not handle it.” It was disappointing to be turned away despite the restaurant clearly having space available. I hope they can improve their staffing and communication so guests don’t have this kind of experience in the future.
There were three of us.

What a vibe this restaurant brings! Fresh seafood, a uniquely designed menu, and elegant decor inside to make this place feel so high end to celebrate any occasion, even just a simple date night. Highly recommend their take on an espresso martini or a smoked old fashioned. Their well crafted cocktails are delicious! The service was spectacular. I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. They truly created a fantastic dining atmosphere here!

We stopped by for lunch on s Sunday while visiting the Wharf for their live music Sundays and we were not disappointed! My husband is STILL talking about this meal! We weren’t super hungry, so we decided to split a few items: the tuna tartar, the grouper tacos (with a side of truffle aioli for the fries) and a shrimp cocktail. All the food was amazing! That truffle aioli was out of this world!! The tuna was fresh and delicious! The grouper tacos had a lot of flavor and the fish was cooked to perfection! For drinks, my husband got a Bloody Mary and I got an espresso martini tower that they offered. That was a lot of fun, there were four different variations of espresso martinis, each being delightful in their own way. My only complaint was that the bartender kept stopping making the tower to take care of other things, resulting in our food coming out WAY before I got my beverages, and we like to relax a little bit with cocktails before food. I understand if there was something immediate to attend to, but to stop every few moments resulted in this coming to our table 20 minutes later… The Battery had their own live music going on, which I’m not sure is regularly scheduled or if this was something special, but we really enjoyed the vibes this musician brought to the place! Overall we had a great time and would definitely come back if we’re in the area!

We had a fabulous brunch and drinks at this restaurant. The breakfast sliders and grilled cheese were absolutely delicious and I would get either of them again. Same for the candied bacon. There were also a lot of other things in the menu I would like to come back and try. The truffle fries and home fries were nothing special and service was a bit slow. The “find the balance” is one of my new favorite cocktails.
Update. Came back for lunch and it was also fantastic. We sat at the bar this time and the service was wonderful. The seasonal juggling coconuts cocktail was a stand out, and the calamari was perfectly done. The French onion soup was very nice and cheesy.

We went for an early Sunday dinner before hanging out at the Sparkman Wharf after. The place has a low rating, but to our surprise it was actually wonderful! We ordered a bottle of Rosé and some Oysters to start. Great wine prices and the oysters were perfect! We had a lobster bisque which was a good portion already with a ball of shredded lobster in it, very delicious. The filet was cooked perfect and you must try the sweet potato fries, sweet and savory so good! My daughter had the chicken fingers and to be honest I think they were the best chicken fingers any of us have ever had. Alicia was our waitress and she was phenomenal. I would highly recommend this restaurant nice dinner spot! Thank you
