Josh, our server, was incredible — attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel celebrated. He anticipated everything we needed without being overbearing and had such a great personality that added so much to our morning.
Carlos also went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The service, the atmosphere, the food — all outstanding.
Thank you for making our anniversary brunch so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!
And Raanan, our waiter, wow. So fun, full of personality, always there when we needed him, moving fast, making it all feel effortless. Literal perfect.
Everything was amazing, I can’t even pick a favorite. Already planning my next visit.
Happy hour is from 4 to 7 pm on weekdays for anything $14 or less. Large indoor bar, dining room, and outdoor areas.
For parking, there are 2 places you can park. The side street and the parking garage located behind the restaurant on NW 5th terrace street (both are free! In Ft. laud!!). Young vibe.
I was indecisive about cocktails (as usual), and Bella let me sample one before committing. I ended up choosing the Bootlegger (jalapeños + pineapple), and it was so good. You could taste the jalapeño without it being spicy at all.
Food decisions were just as hard. I couldn’t choose between the chicken & waffles and the French toast. Bella gave her honest opinion (both are good, which didn’t help ), but when she explained the French toast tastes more like bread pudding, which I LOVE, I was tempted. Still, I went with the chicken & waffles because it comes with bone-in chicken, and I don’t regret it one bit. Everything came out hot and fresh. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned, and the waffles were crispy on the edges and soft in the middle. YUM.
We also ordered the bread pudding dessert and wowww. So good. I was already stuffed so I couldn’t eat much, but it was delicious. Bella said that’s basically how the French toast tastes, so technically I did get a taste A win is a win.
Even though it was busy, service never felt slow. Bella was super attentive and on point. She truly needs a raise. Loved her.
There’s some street parking and a garage right across the street, so no complaints there. It was cold outside, but the brick wall decor fit the cozy vibe perfectly. They were playing country music, had cute photo spots, an outdoor bar, and a patio that would be perfect for large groups or happy hour.
My friends enjoyed their food and drinks too. Overall, great vibes, great service, great food. I’d definitely go back.
Here for the second time — yes, we drove 20 miles again, and it was 100% worth it!
I had the Carolina Smoked Brisket Sandwich, and let’s just say my taste buds had a first-kiss moment . The flavors were rich, smoky, and absolutely unforgettable. My husband ordered the Batch Burger, and between bites I heard him mumbling, “omg this is really good,” like he was having a spiritual experience .
I paired my sandwich with a glass of J. Lohr Seven Oaks Cabernet Sauvignon — perfect match. And although I’m not a dessert girl, curiosity won. The Chef’s Mood dessert blew me away — the pastry was so fresh you could see it, and the homemade ice cream with that hint of liquor and caramel? Perfection. My husband’s Apple Cobbler Bread Pudding was huge (I had to stop him before he inhaled it).
Shoutout to our server James — super friendly, knew the menu inside out, and had that perfect timing where he shows up right when you need him.
With all that we ate we expect the bill to be more than a $84 so we paid it happily.
We’ll definitely be back — 20 miles? No problem when the food’s this good!
While my bf used the restroom I informed the host it was his birthday so he could be surprised with a sweet treat but our server mentioned he heard it was someone’s birthday so that kind of ruined the surprise but it was okay our server was nice
We started with the biscuits which was our first time trying & 10/10 I just wouldn’t get it with such a full meal because by the time the chicken came out I was full off 1 biscuit, that butter/jam combo try it!
Chicken & waffles always our go to order here. The waffles aren’t traditional (cheddar cornbread) but they don’t taste how they sound lol as they are still good I prefer the original taste
The fried chicken always great as well and you get such a big portion I suggest using the rest at home with some crystals hot sauce it ups the rating by at least 5 more points, I actually don’t even eat the chicken without the hot sauce lol but the restaurant does not carry it! They have a in house hot sauce I didn’t like
For dessert we got the banana pudding to go so unfortunately I didn’t get any photos but it was good taste wise but the pudding was thicker than I’m used to so to each its own
This wasn’t my first visit so of course I’d be back
P.s- Our Server Rainin ( sorry if I messed that up bud ) so so attentive and welcoming. Ask for him! He knew all the good stuff! – Savannah
