Loved this place so much! Was missing Indonesian food so went here with the family and was pleased that all the food tasted authentic and so delicious. Portions are generous and filling. You can also buy and stock on your Indonesian groceries while you’re here.

A nice Indonesian food joint in Doraville, I ordered Mie Goreng (Fried Noodles) with Lamb stew (Satay Lamb). Authentic Indonesia cuisine, they also have nice sweet cakes on Saturday as well as a small grocery section for spices and snacks from Indonesia.

Don’t question it, just go! Such bold interesting flavors you can’t get anywhere else. Great value. A nice grocery market inside as well to pick up more Interesting finds. I’ve been multiple times and love to try different things and each time am equally impressed. Consider it like you’re going on vacation to Indonesia, but without the two days to fly there.

I got shrimp and chicken combination nasi goreng and beef rendang with extra sambal on the side. Everything was delicious! The rendang was cooked so well it was almost falling apart in a thick stew with a very good flavor. All of the tendon was cooked tender and delicious! The sambal had a great flavor. I could taste all of the flavors I expected, including the shrimp paste, so I don’t think the recipes are Americanized. The combination nasi goreng was great and nothing was overcooked at all. The rice had a nice shine and there were no clumps. The shrimp was juicy, but still had a nice slightly crispy exterior. The egg was the right texture. The portion was great! I couldn’t eat it all, so I ate half and am saving the other half for lunch at work tomorrow. I’m excited to dive into it. If you like spice, don’t skip the sambal on the nasi goreng! It has a great flavor and if you just put it on parts of the rice, then you can enjoy two great flavors of nasi goreng!

We were in Atlanta and we found an authentic Indonesian restaurant. We fell in love with Indonesian food during a family vacation to Bali. The food was delicious and the portion sizes were much larger than the photos on the menu. They also have Indonesian groceries available for purchase. I definitely recommend this gem.

Batavia offers authentic, delicious Indonesian food either in the grocery store sections (which has a small freezer section) or in the restaurant section which offers a variety of traditional dishes.

I’ve been found here for over ten years and I’ve never had a bad experience. It’s a small place but has great food with friendly service. It’s my go-to place for Indonesian food.

It’s been a few years but I remember going here and everyone in the store wondered if we were lost. It wasn’t until my mother explained that she was born in Indonesia that they realized the reason for the visit. Everyone treated us as family and we ate such wonderful food. Just to let them know, my mother passed away in March. At least the last vacation we had included the people at Batavia and it was one her most cherished moments. Thank you so much for all you have done and have yet to do.

Good grocery shop for Indonesian snacks and Indonesian foods. I bet the buffet foods were good when they were fresh from the kitchen.
