Was out for an evening with old friends. Had reservations at 7:00 for 6:00 people. We receded right on time our server was beyond enjoyable and perfect. Bartending staff was on point knew their stuff. We ordered appetizers for the table the Portobello french fries are phenomenal. Couple of people ordered lobster and the halibut the rest of us ordered prime ribs and steaks.
Sadly my friend’s halibut was rubbery and cold he said it was likely microwaved. My prime rib was served barely warm and did not have the greatest flavor in the world it was actually kind of bland. Everyone else on the table was slightly underwhelmed for the hype in the ads of prime meat and high-end prices it was very underwhelming.
I personally would be willing to try the place again but it’s highly unlikely I can get my other friends to join me.
As I said the food underwhelming. The service from the staff phenomenal five Star All The Way

Had an amazing experience at Bass Street Chophouse last night. The food was absolutely fantastic, cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The atmosphere felt upscale but still comfortable, and the service really made the night special. Everything from start to finish was on point. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the Quad Cities. If you have not had the opportunity to attend their monthly wine dinner, i highly recommend you do! Can’t wait to go back!

We were stopping in for my guy’s birthday to have pre-dinner drinks. They have a fabulous selection of good alcohol. Our bartender was Heather P, and she was phenomenal. Great personality and great bartender. We liked her so much, we asked to see a dinner menu. She was so knowledgeable about the menu and helped us pare down our selections, so we stayed for a fabulous meal after canceling our other reservations to stay at Bass Street. Can’t wait to go back and can’t wait to have Heather for our bartender again. She is personality plus.

Full disclosure – Never got to try the place.
Long day on the road landed me at the Wyndham Hotel in downtown Moline, IL on a Tuesday evening. Arrived at 7:30 p.m., checked in, unloaded my stuff in the room, and headed downstairs to the Bass St. Chop House for a cocktail and a bite to eat. It’s now 8:00 p.m.
Ads and promo materials for this restaurant adorn the lobby and the elevators at the hotel. They are literally conjoined by a common hallway and are right next door to each other. Perfect.
Posted hours say open until 9:00 p.m. At 8:00 p.m. the doors were locked up tight as a drum. I get it. I’ve been in the retail customer service business for 30+ years. Sometimes business is slow and you close up a little early, or lean your staff down.
However, for a “high end” restaurant attached to a downtown hotel to lock it up and call it a day on Tuesday evening by 8:00 p.m. (not sure what time they actually closed up), well, it’s just my opinion, but that’s really bad form. I’ll choose differently next time.
Give them a try, but maybe call before you go.

We came here for their pasta on the patio event. Heather P. Took great care of us, and so did Garry. All the staff was wonderful, attentive, and friendly. The ambiance was perfect. We will be returning.

Overall very underwhelming compared to expectations and price. Filet medallions were good, but everything else was average at best. Twice we didn’t get what we ordered (one time it was corrected) and later we were charged more than the advertised menu price. Waitress didn’t seem to know what was going on and the Manager didn’t seem to care. At that point we just paid and left. We will not be back. Not a fine dining experience. Sorry no pictures, nothing was picture worthy.

Heather was our server. She was excellent. My only complaint would be they don’t have Brussel sprouts. We had the old Fashions. I had the chocolate and cherry old fashion, my husband had the other one. They were both so very good. Thanks bartender!! It was our second visit and the steaks were cooked perfectly!! Thanks chef!!

Love giving positive reviews…service: Mike the bartender made excellent drinks (for a group of 6), good recommendations and was pleasant and attentive without being overbearing. Scott our waiter was the same…prompt, pleasant, and informative which isn’t always easy for a group. It’s a small thing but as he brought the checks he let us know the gratuity was included…not many do that. In appreciation (& it was earned) a few added extra gratuity. Oh yeah, the steaks were excellent, prepared properly as we’re the sides (mac & Cheese, lobster mac and cheese + others = A1!). We travel fairly extensively and found Bass Chop House’s food AND it’s servers to be among our favorites. Thank you.

Bass Street continues to be one of our favorite go to’s in the QC. The Prime NY Strip was absolutely amazing one of the finest steaks I have ate anywhere. My mother had the Halibut which is one of her favorites when she eats fish, it was fresh and good and a nice portion but it did lack a little bit of pop or seasoning. The only negative to our meal was they have changed the blue cheese potatoes. These were chuncked up potatoes dusted and sauced. Bring back the others. The super thinly sliced layered and fried potatoe stack and then covered in blue cheese sauce are way better, my wife’s favorite. Honestly if you don’t get them back I don’t know if I’ll get her back there she was that disappointed.

Exceeded our expectations. The Caesar salad was wonderful. I’m going to recommend the cauliflower au gratin. It was truly one of a kind. The bread and butter delicious our steaks were perfect. I would recommend the dry aged steak. Our server Larry was out of this world and the wine was absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is perfect. I highly recommend it for any occasion.
