The food was really good. Fried fish, oysters, shrimp salad bar all very good. Our waitress did an awesome job taking care of our group of about 20 adults. Nice view too.

We went to Bass Haven Restaurant tonight with friends to celebrate our anniversary. First time there. Friends had whole catfish and said you can’t find any better than that. My shrimp scampi and grilled shrimp were great. The baked potato could have been hotter. All meals come with hush puppies, beans, cold slaw and choice of potatoes. My husband liked his fish filet and fried shrimp. All six of us enjoyed the meal and the view of the lake. The waitress was helpful. We would go back again, even though it is about a 30 minute drive. We got there about 5:15 P and it started getting busy about 6 on a Thursday.

Small and gets easily crowded. Could do with some outside seating. Also expensive. Delicious tartar sauce, cocktail sauce, shrimp, and hush puppies. Someone at my table complained that the catfish was bad, so the menu items seem to be hit or miss. Only open 3 days per week. The all you can eat shrimp on Thursdays is the main attraction and is definitely why you should come to this place. However, be prepared to shell out $18 +tax per person. Great experience, but the prices are a bit too steep.

The food is excellent, I had the catfish plate this time with a salad. The staff is friendly and lives to visit and get to know you. You feel more like family than a customer both times I have been here. Last time I had a steak and boy was it good! Worth the trip by car or boat!
