So the bad first. The salad bar is limited and lettuce was wilted and onions still frozen. This seems to be a family business, but they don’t take advantage of that. The place was really quiet with very little talking.
They were not using any of that good old southern charm and was almost assembled line when it came to customer service. They had alot of signs up telling you basically good food takes time to cook. I don’t think this is necessary when you have good food people will stand in line for hours.
The food we ordered was gator tale as an app. Lisa got steak and baked potato as usual. I got the mushroom burger with fries. Now here is where the 4 stars come from. If you never had gator tales this is a great place to go. They were perfectly cooked.
The mushroom burger was also perfect. Most place forget that cooking a burger you need to still taste the burger. They built upon the burgers taste by adding mushrooms and melted swiss. Instead of tasting just mushrooms you get all of those flavors exploding in your mouth. Job well done.
Lisa said her steak was so juicy and melted in her mouth. They actual cook everything to order and steaks are cooked outside on the grill.
While the atmosphere really needs some help, including the salad bar. The cooks and the food they cook is wonderful and well worth the drive. If you are looking for a great place to eat give them a try.

Great food & prices. The staff is super nice. I have never paid over $8.00 for a burger, fries and a drink. They have specials a lot too & you get points each time for a discount on a future visit. LOVE their fried pickles. Yummy!!!!!!

Here at 7 pm salad bar empty no silverware no napkins really bad service probably be my last time it has run down so .much so sad used to be a nice place. Tables dirty take plates off but don’t clean them. Hamburger steaks are good need to be lil bigger than a hamburger though the guys cooking were great very friendly always asking if there was anything else I needed.
